Always have a great time here great Bartender Cindy. Never have had any problems Cindy always is on top of everything , very clean, on top of taking care of her customers, also Friends. Makes sure they are safe and if you are hungry damn she can cook hella food. ☺ all around a great atmosphere karaoke and lets not forget great people. I personally like the wooden nickel.
Well what can I say? It's a hole in the wall bar which is exactly what we were looking for. They had cheap pool tables and an atmosphere that said "don't break anything and you'll be welcome ". We had a good time chatting with the locals and playing pool. Gotta be willing to get brush up against some dirt here.
I've been going to this bar for 13 years everybody is friendly and nice Ronnie is the karaoke DJ there and he is the best at what he does I couldn't imagine going to any other bar they treat you like family there and the food is excellent there
Had a great time. Bartender really could make excellent drinks. Reasonable prices also. We were talking about making a regular stop after volleyball.....

If you know south village , then you know the wooden nickel. I frequently stop in to have a beer after work and dinner when I'm to tired to cook. The place is small but the heart of this dive bar is unmatched by anyone. Including the other two local establishments within blocks of one another. Bartender Cindi is an awesome woman and an even better philosopher not to mention she can probably beat the breaks off of most people on the dart board or the pool table. Stop by on Sunday ,Billards tourney every Sunday at 6:30, 1,2,3 place wins the evening donation pool.

Well..there happens to be a lady in a wheelchair right here...and the ATM is just about 5ft from where she is sitting..
and as for the rude bartendar..obviously you have more issues than most...this place is AWESOME.
I have been going there for 17 years and the atmosphere is wonderful. The bar tenders are amazing. Just an overall great place to go to and have fun.
Very good friendly people. Great bar to do karaoke. Can't wait to return...
