Big Kahuna's

We stopped here on our way to the airport as our last meal in Hawaii. I didn't expect a lot, just a quick bite before leaving, but I was blown away. Absolutely blown away. I am a pizza nut and I've eaten it all over the world, Detroit style, Chicago deep dish, NY slices, authentic in Italy, all of it. This was hands down the best pizza I ever had. It's not even close. My daughter hates pizza and she devoured every bite. On top of that the staff was incredibly warm and engaging, the perfect combination of attention and leaving you to eat. My only regret is now that I'm back on the mainland, I'll continue to dream of that pizza until I find something close, but I doubt I will. ​

My SO and I will order out pizza now and then. We usually get Dominos but decided to try something different. Solid pizza experience. I thought the service was good. The prices seem comparable to other pizza places. My pizza itself was pretty good, not remarkable, but good. I would definitely consider going back. My main critique is that there weren't boxes with some kinda cool logo on it, because I'm a Pulp Fiction fan and that would have been a good social media post (that would have also been free advertising for Big Kahuna. ) Also, just as some friendly advice, owner might want to tone down the responses to reviews. I can imagine that getting negative feedback (that you feel is unwarranted ) would be really stressful but I think the best owners handle it by trying to engage with the customer to find a resolution or offer an explanation. OR... they just ignore the haters! Attacking them personally is going to turn off a lot of potential customers, even if your vitriol was 100% justified.
