Review Lindo Mexico - Indianapolis

I’m giving 5 stars for the service. The food was good but nothing amazing. Beans and rice are great but the enchiladas taste like Taco Bell, the tamale is good sized but not that flavorful. This place would benefits from real red Chile and even green Chile. Hatch New Mexico has the best Chile and it sets a high standard. This Chile is sweet not spicy. But will eat here again gladly

Great service. Nice place to meet friends. I'd like to go back and try the drink menu - looked great but I was pregnant at the time. Food is average chain Mexican quality.

Coming from Texas I have certainly had my share of Mexican food. I was surprised to find a nice Mexican restaurant right off the bat in Indianapolis of all places! What a pleasant surprise! Roberto, our waiter, was very knowledgeable of the menu and was very friendly. He was spot on on keeping our drinks filled and chips coming! The food was tasty and reasonably priced. I would definitely come back here again.

This place is AMAZING! Probably one of the best mexican restaurants we have been to in Indy! Service was phenomenal! Our waiter was so quick to give refills and ask if we needed anything. The best service we have had eating out period. All of the wait staff anticipated our needs so quickly it was such a great experience based on that alone! I ordered the shrimp chimichangas and it was so tasty! My husband got the beef tip chimichangas and he loved them. The queso was thick and a large size was really a large!! I couldn't believe it when they brought it out. Salsa was really good. Prices were on point as well. If you haven't tried Lindo Mexico you definitely should!! Edited to add: My husband recently got the carnitas and they were SO dry. Service was phenomenal as always though.

I love this place. Best tableside guacamole hands down. Not to mention the Birria Taco's OMG so🔥

The food there is great, I like to eat a veggie burrito whenever I go to a Mexican restaurant, and I got that as my main course. It was really warm, there was rice on the side and the veggies inside were the exact veggies I told them to put inside. The seats, walls, and food all fit the Mexican atmosphere, it’s as you think you’re actually in Mexico. The service was pretty good, they greeted us, gave us some time to think on our order, and the food came fairly quick.

Ordered it again and its gotten better somehow! The birria has more flavor and spice!!! The chef needs a raise!!!! This place never disappoints when I get to come here. I got birria. Which is new on the menu. It's been a while since I've been there so I don't know how long it's been on the menu, but it doesn't matter because it was delicious. The staff is always super nice, too.

First time visit Tuesday night date. Chips and salsa were fresh & hot. In-house made horchata, jarritos soda. Enchiladas and nachos supremas. Great flavor refried beans did not tasted like canned. Will come back for sure.

The food is soooo good here. Lots of options on the menu. I had the Enchiladas Suiza and the chicken was flavorful. The sauce had just the right amount of tartness and mixed deliciously with the cream sauce. The salsa is perfect with the right amount of onion and spice. The service is always fantastic.

I only stopped in for a drink. My friend said that they have the best margaritas. I wound up getting a sangria and it is delicious. I had the cab sauv sangria. Very fruity and refreshing. Their chips are so good and the salsa is yummy too.

Had a wonderful holiday lunch with the girls. The atmosphere, service and food was perfect. It was a delightful time enjoyed by all!

After months of procrastinating, I finally ate at Lindo Mexico last night. I've been a sworn patron of another local restaurant in Greenwood for the past few years now, but I've always been telling myself to eat here at least once. With that being said, I have a new favorite Mexican restaurant in town. To start, the salsa is unparalleled. I've been to damn near every Mexican restaurant in Greenwood and this one seriously has the best salsa. It's just enough spice and it's not super watery or thin. I ordered the arroz con pollo as that's my baseline to see if a restaurant is good. My friend ordered the birria tacos. The food came out extremely quick, maybe 10 minutes max. Not that we noticed, since we were face first in chips, salsa, and queso. Normally when I order arroz con pollo, there's always a good lot of chicken and not enough rice. In this case, it was the opposite. Not enough chicken and a good lot of rice. It was still good, despite that. The birria tacos were phenomenal as well. I spent $25 for myself including the tip. The soft drinks were $3.29, which is definitely on the pricer side. Overall, amazing restaurant and I highly recommend it over any other Mexican restaurant in Greenwood.

My family loves coming here for a family lunch dinner. The staff are friendly and efficient. The food is great quality and tasty. I loved the salsa and the table side guacamole.The vibe is so colorful and they have alot of tile art.

First timers - visiting this area. Met a Whiteland resident who highly recommended and she was not wrong! The food was great, the margaritas amazing and the bar service was wonderful. Order the flight to get a good sampling of the all. My husband loved the Smokey Tamarindo.

Best Margaritas! Service is always great even when they get really busy. The food is fresh, authentic and theyvprepare very unique things that are hard to find in the many other mexican restaurant around tow .

Absolutely worth coming here! Hands down Great Margaritas! N ELOTES!!!! Get the flight, find your flavor and go with it! Owner was attentive, stopped by multiple times, and offered us another flight to try his favorites! But DO NOT LEAVE WITHOUT GETTING THE ELOTES!!!! By far 10 stars All Day!!! The best I have had!!! Absolutely will be back anytime we hit Indy!!!

Absolutely amazing food and service! They deserve more than 5 stars 🌟EDIT : After coming back a couple more times since my initial review, the food has tapered off to average and served at room temperature. It's time to keep exploring for the perfect Mexican food because it's not here.

I have always been an advocate for Lindo Mexico being one of the best, if not the best, Mexican restaurant in Greenwood/South Indy. But I feel lile there are some improvements they should make to be a 5-star Mexican choice in town. Pros: the MARGARITAS! (they have the best tasting, most variety margs in town), the location, the salsa is good. Cons: the service (always a bit slow and delayed to get the check, get refills, etc., but food comes out super fast), the prices are a little higher than I’d like, the birria soup doesn’t have enough meat, the chips are kind of thick, rice is a bit dry and bland, and sometimes the food just comes out mid. It’s not very consistent.

I was a little disappointed in my entree. I had the pork carnitas and they didn't really have any seasoning. The Spanish rice and beans were very good. My friends had burritos, quesadillas and a vegetarian option they all reported that they liked theirs quite well. The serving sizes were generous. Service was okay, a little bit slow. I would give it another try to see how a different entree is.

On a crazy hot Taco Tuesday, there's one sure fire way to cool down... these gorgeous 100% blue agave tequila margaritas from Lindo Mecico on the south side! How could you possibly just choose one! From spicy to sweet these scrumptious margarita flights will take your taste buds on an adventure. Like a tart, sweet, and fresh margarita and all their flights use fresh fruit! Or maybe something fresh and pretty! Or maybe something with a little heat! This cayenne and candied tamarind was a little spicy at first, but I kept craving it! Guac might be extra, but so are we! You'll be feeling pretty special too after you order this delicious fresh Guac, made to order, table side! From tacos to cactus bowl! Whatever your craving Lindo Mexico probably has it! These fajita grills were on point! The tacos were delicious (ask for extra limes!) They have both standard mexican restaurant food and traditional authentic dishes. If you haven't tried cacti yet, it might be your new fav veggie! This bowl was filled with grilled onion, peppers, cactus, chicken, shrimp, chorizo and queso fresco - a kitchen sink kinda dish, but its so delicious and even better for leftovers! They're customer service was impeccable! If you get a chance to talk to the owners son please do so, he's super friendly, and very recessive to any ideas opinions on how to grow their business. Before the standard yummy mexican restaurant now that he is taking over for his father, he's implementing some new things to spice it up! Margarita flights are just the first of many new fun ideas! We will definitely be going back. twainindy

They have great beef and steak tacos (very filling).....my family loved them. I had the chicken, steak and chorizo fajitas. They were good but I'm used to them being served in separate areas on the plate. They mixed them all together. The chips and salsa and margarita were average. I would go back though.

We went there for dinner our waiter was great... food wasn’t that great. When a good size chicken bone was almost chocked on we asked to talk to the manager he was unconcerned.... won’t be back!!

Food is amazing, service is fabulous and the margaritas are on point! This is definitely a place worth checking out! Will definitely be back!

Had an incredible meal here. The staff was amazing, the fresh guacamole (made at the table) was fantastic, and the food was much tastier than many other Mexican cuisine restaurants around. There's not too much room in the place, though. if you want privacy, don't go on a Friday night.

This used to be one of our favorite restaurants - we've eaten there a lot over the years. The past few months- service quality has changed drastically. Unfriendly staff, untimely service. So disappointing! Our last visit (which was this wk) will be our last there. The only positive I can say about it now is the food is still good. Just don't expect your order to be taken in a timely manner or for it to be correct when it arrives.

We just moved here, from CA and have been trying to find a place that reminds us of are Fav. in CA... Only place we have found that beans taste like beans Annnnd they have me fav. sopes!!! �

The fresh guacamole made at the table was perfect. I would suggest medium had the perfect kick. Great food and service. Margarita flights available as well. Pleased.

This is the closest Mexican restaurant to our house and we have frequented it regularly, until today. I usually don't write a place off after one bad experience but I am going to make an exception this time. Horrible service, even worse food, followed by more horrible service. Our money will now go elsewhere. It was good while it lasted, Lindo.

I wanted their fresh made guacamole but telling three people I had not gotten it and already eaten my meal, still no guacamole!!! I was really craving it too!!! : (
