Ive been going to the egyptian for years, but its been a while since ive been here. To any long time fans of this place, heads up on the fact that they changed the location. Where they originally had it at, is now a new bar. Yes its still in broad ripple but its at a different place. Still a good vibe and love the chill vibes here, same good hookah.

Good staff. Food was okie. Vegetarian options are available. ( good options). Usually very busy place. The place might reserve your place in advance , please call and confirm. Usually a smoky interior. Good flavors of hookah. Quick service. People with asthma or smoke allergies, please be cautious. Be prepare for security check at the entrance. Appreciate the place for taking extra steps for the safety of everyone. Minimum charge paid parking available right outside the cafe. Wheelchair accessible.

I visited this place while I’m Indianapolis for a Pacers game. Other restaurants I visited had me very doubtful that good customer service existed in Indians, but The Egyptian changed that. From the moment I entered the place until I left, customer service was nothing less than excellent. Though we waited a while for a server, the bartender noticed it and came to our table and took our order. As busy as he was, he still checked on us and made sure we were comfortable the entire time. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was wonderful and the hookah was great! I highly recommend this place!

Been coming here for years! It’s always a great time, whether you want to work, hangout, eat, drink, socialize etc. You get it all here!! The servers are super nice as well, especially Cori, Keith and Kipp!!! I’ve also been to a few dozen hookah bars, all over the country, and this place is #1 in hookah flavor. The taste always blows me away! Customer for life here.

I haven't been here in years. The place has moved, but only down the street. It has a larger food and alcoholic drink menu than when I was last here. It was different, but upgraded. Not my particular scene, but it still is a nice place to go to when visiting. They do not have natural coals, that would be an added upgrade if they switched to that, I prefer to move my coals if I need to, and to not have quick lights because of the coating.
Still has the relaxed happy vibe from the last time I was there when I got kicked out because I had a service dog.

I’ve known about the Egyptian hookah spot for a while now. I went a few times to jump in quickly and meet friends and it always seemed very dark and not that exciting. , After trying the food for the first time a few weeks ago I can’t stop coming back! Everything I’ve ordered from here has been delicious. From the chicken wrap to the rice to pretty much everything on the menu comes out delicious. And the hookah is great also. This has become one of my new chill spots not just for food but also to work, and smoke some good hookah
