These are my favorite tamales in the world! And the pupusas, too. I've never had anything that wasn't incredible, and that includes the service. I'm so grateful these folks are in Indy and that they are sharing their delicious food!

I used to always get tamales from them when they were at the farmer's market downtown. After seeing they had a restaurant on W. 56th St, I decided to revisit. Great food, friendly service. Best tamales I've had in town.

I'd been curious about this place since seeing roadside signs for tamales and pupusas on my way to Georgetown Market on 56th street. We stopped in today on a whim and while we were the only patrons, everyone on the other side of the counter was genuine and friendly. We loved the corn fritters for their sweetness and fresh corn taste. The pupusas were delicious suplimented by a small condiment bar, almost flat corn cakes stuffed with meat (or not) and cheese. The tamales were sweet for my taste, but the owner was so kind and earnest we plan to come back for more soon.

Delicioso!. Just went to the downtown Farmer's Market, amazing! They apparently no longer have a restaurant, but they do travel to Farmer's Markets all over - they have them listed on their website, they do things until the end of October... delicious papusas! Spicy meat with sweet corn base, grilled fresh, right in the stand! Delicious tamales! Sweet corn coupled with the spicy salsa and pork, sprinkled with queso fresco and crema. So yummy and authentic. Worth waiting in line. SUPER Cheap! Only $3 each, these delicious food from Mexico and El Salvador are soo yummy!!

Today we traveled to the west side for some El Salvadoran treats. Pat discovered this place more by happen stance than anything else. His wife, Fran, brought him a tamale she had picked up at the City Market from the 3 in 1 Restaurant,it had a stand at the Farmer’s Winter Market. Sweet corn, pig and no onions. Love at first bite for Pat. We don’t go to the west side that often so I was curious to see what sights I have been missing. Besides. I am a freak for tamales. Also I was quite curious about the name. At each table was a laminated sheet explaining the origin of their name. I thought it was a touching story so I am posting a copy. I wish to apologize in advance for my pictures. Normally I make up for my lack of photographic skill by taking multiple shots, and picking the best to publish. However my batteries were dying so I couldn’t. As you can see the prices are more than reasonable. They also have a special on Pupusas, 2 for $5. A pupusa is a thick corn cake stuffed with various

If you are looking for some authentic Latino food on the west side then '3 en 1' is the place to go. The food was outstanding! Juan and his family use many local meats and produce in their authentic recipes. While the 'Pupusa' was something new for me, the owner was very friendly and described each of the different entree options. The restaurant was very clean and inviting, definitely better than the normal carniceria. With environmentally friendly paper table cloths, biodegradable plastic ware, friendly conversation, and locally sourced foods, you can tell that this restaurant cares about more than just cooking a tasty meal; but the great thing is, you will get that too. The reasonable prices and mix-and-match combos make this a great lunch or dinner stop. I will definitely be back.

I love this place!! I've always gone to the Zionsville farmers market to get a Pupas and tamale. I never seemed to get there early enough to get a tamale!! I went to the restaurant and WOW the tamales were so good I brought some home!! And here is the kicker!! The purchase meat and corn from a vendor at that farmers market!! How cool is that! They hand shuck the corn. Yes real corn. Not canned, not frozen but corn straight from the cob. And the people who own it are super people. You gotta try this place!!
