The food was delicious! You could taste the fresh ingredients in every bite. The woman working the register was very welcoming and sweet. The veggie sandwich (pictured) was awesome. We will definitely be going back.

The cafe is pretty awesome. Came in for Sunday brunch and got a slice of the hummingbird cake, chicken and vegetable quiche and a smoothie. The hummingbird cake was delicious, arguably the best cake/dessert I’ve had in the past couple of months and the smoothie was just great, fruity goodness. The quiche sadly, was cold so not as appetizing as I expected. I’ll definitely go back just not for the quiche

First time here and the experience was great. It's obvious they care about the quality and presentation of their food. We had brunch and the special waffle was loaded with fruits and walnuts. Also had a delicious egg white omelet with tons of fresh vegetables. Very good food and bottomless coffee at the counter. We will be back!

This place is very fancy indeed. It has gourmet dishes that are very good. The service there is not so bad. Sometimes it will get to full though. The employees there are very nice and caring. It can sometimes get loud in the kitchen and that bothered me. They argue a bit too much as well. But besides all that its all right!

I visited Taste Cafe & Marketplace on Thursday night for dinner. The place was not busy a I was a little concerned about that. But we were warmly greeted by Mark who did the best so our experience was great. We order a bottle of Rosé that was crisp and refreshing. Dinner was amazing. It took a little while to be served but the wait was worthy. The truffle fries were the best I ever had! The crispy Tilapia sandwich and all other items we ordered were fantastic! Taste is great restaurant to visit us you are in Broadripple!

WRITE PRICES ON YOUR MENU! 4/27/13 I've been to Taste about 10 times, and the food quality is excellent. I did have a disappointing experience this morning however, when the following happened: 1) I ordered the "Egg Special" 2) The cashier rung up the "Egg Sandwich" 3) The cashier brought out the Egg Sandwich, we sent it back for the correct item, and she let me know that there would be a "small price difference". 4) It turns out the "Egg Special" was actually $17, so the "small price difference was an extra $8"!!! I asked the cashier where the prices for the Egg Special was listed, and she said, "It isn't; most people just ask". I was really turned off by this, because as a consumer, it felt like a bait and switch. I have no trouble spending some good money on food, especially when it is made with the care and quality ingredients that they use at Taste. I do however take offense when I feel like I'm being bamboozled into paying $17 for breakfast, when I was looking for a smaller portion at prices similar to the normal items on their menu. My wife was surprised that "Special" didn't mean "on-sale", but instead meant "much bigger and more expensive than normal". Please list the prices on your menu board, so that consumers can make educated decisions about what we want to eat. In this case, I would have been very happy with an Egg Special that was half as big for about $10, but I feel taken advantage of when I ordered the Egg Special that is as big as my head, and $17.

Packed in like rats and for good reason. The cramped atmosphere cannot take away from the food experience. Service could be better but again, it doesn't take away from the food. However, I think if they added seating, staff, etc. then it would still be packed to the rafters a few hours later. Some wonderful mixes of flavors and dishes from breakfast to dinner and pommes frites with everything just make it a wonderful meal. I've had to start creating our own poached egg/toast/asparagus/garlic on homemade bread at home just so we don't have to go for breakfast weekly. It isn't an intimate date-night location, but it definitely is a wonderful place to enjoy one of the best menus in the city.

I had the v-8 salad, and it was fresh and crisp and very good. My partner had the BALT sandwich and he loved it so much he ate it so quickly he forgot to add hot sauce. The staff was very friendly and the coffee was fresh and hot to boot.

I have only been for breakfast. Order at the counter and take a seat. The stratta is yummy as are the seasoned potatoes. I love the Spanish latte. Help yourself to several types of regular coffee if you prefer. Ambience is nice.

Impression: Casual breakfast/brunch/lunch location with ample seating areas and outdoor dining. Located along College Ave in a small restaurant bubble that is just neat to visit. This is a great place to go when its warm outside to eat outside. I personally inside because it was raining, and it was fine, but the interior isn't anything special. Food is purchased from a line that you walk along and pay for at the end of the line. Pros: Food was really good. The pomme frites were crispy and delicious, definitely recommend getting these if you are lunching. Ample seating and can accommodate small to medium size groups (8 or less). Cons: Is a bit pricey for what it is. The food is good, but if you are a bargain hunter this is not your location. Interior seating had lots of clanging and noise... not 'overly' noisy, but noticeable. Conclusion: Its a nice little place with good food and great outdoor seating for nice days. If it wasn't a nice day though, I don't think I would bfast/brunch/lunch here because it is a bit pricier and the indoor eating is so-so. Great for: breakfast, brunch, lunch, small groups, a couple who wants to go out and have a nice little meal
