The food was enjoyable and staff was friendly. Perhaps not the best tacos I've ever had, but still good. There's a bakery next door if you want to try some treats.
I've been here 3 times just to make sure the time before wasn't a fluke... These are the best tacos I've ever eaten. I didn't know food could taste this complex and delicious before coming here. I'm stuck on the Tacos De Alambre and the Asada Con Queso.
Good chicken (pollo) taco, and a better steak & cheese (asada con queso) taco. Inexpensive, but could be cheaper.
Seating capacity is approximately 60. Entrance to bakery from restaurant.
NB: In the "View Menu" section here on Google Maps, most tacos show a price of $2.75; whereas you can tell from recent photographs of the restaurant wall menus that the current (June 2023) prices for such tacos are now $3.75. Presumably, this is yet another manifestation of failing to accurately update for high inflation over significant stretches of time; a frequent problem found not only here on Google Maps, but common elsewhere, too.
Absolutely incredible, no nonsense Mexican food. The meat here is phenomenal and the tacos come out so hot (temp fresh off the grill) that we had to wait a few minutes before we could even pick them up. I don't know what else to say to convince you these are some of the best tacos I have ever had but you just need to try it for yourself. Cabeza is our fave!
I noticed some reviews say there not a lot of flavor... personally for me... that's the whole point. A great taco isn't supposed to be masked with seasoning. If it's done right all you need is the pure taste of the fillings and you can supplement with salsas! They're right that it's not super "dimensional" in flavors but they are perfectly delectable.
Tacos 46 is one of our favorite places to get tacos. I can't elaborate on much of their food, because we tend to get the same thing when we go. But what we do get is consistently good. They have a bakery there now that has fresh backed breads and pastries that are pretty good. My only real complaint is that it's hard to order ahead because they almost never answer the phone. But there is also not someone standing by the register, everyone goes into the kitchen and works, so they probably just don't hear it much of the time. But the wait is never too long so not being able to call ahead isn't as frustrating as it might be. Overall it's a really good place I'd ya wanna grab a few tacos.
The food was really good. I loved the rice. It had the perfect amount of mix veggies. Most Mexican restaurants in the area’s rice is plain and lacks flavor. The prices are very reasonable. Their is also a bakery attached and their authentic Mexican pastries were amazing.
This place is nice food, taste great. Different kinds of salsas. Too bad they dont have salsa for chips. The place looks clean. The most nicest person was the pregnant waitres she was kind and understanding person. Overall very good quality and a lot meat. Super. So I give you 5 starts for good serving. Presentation, great place, quality and celanese.
As much as I love taco trucks, this restaurant is even better. Their food and services are amazing. The place is very clean. They also provide birthday parties and have a panadería. The food taste amazing. The chips are savoring. I recommend getting their horchata drink. Amazingly done. Overall a great place to have lunch or dinner.
The best and most authentic tacos that I’ve had in Indiana. I’ve came here for years and there hasn’t been a single time that I didn’t enjoy my meal.
This place ROCKS! AWESOME food, friendly service. Can't wait to go back again! Keep up the great work!
