We got seated and ordered right away. Staff was friendly and the food was amazing and got good portions. Would highly recommend

My husband's family said they've known the people here since forever. Now that I have my own family, I understand what they mean. It really feels like a loving family whenever I come here; the staff is always caring, they seem genuinely interested in us, and they're always the first ones to celebrate with us (they were so excited for my son when he was born). If you choose to come here, you will always want to come back. Love you guys <3

I HAD to write a 5 star review IMMEDIATELY because this place deserves it!!! I called at 10:50 am and said "how busy are you? We have a funeral at noon and want to know if we can eat here" The lady who answered said "what's your name, I'll save you a table" and when we got here we were ushered straight to our table. She must have alerted the whole staff because they were quick to get our orders, bring our food, bring our check.... and the manager (I'm assuming) came to make sure we were on schedule. The food was phenomenal as well. I had "The Entire Farm" and the chicken was juicy and flavorful and the biscuits are to die for, eggs cooked to a fluffy perfection. The pancakes tasted like a birthday cake. 🤤 We. Will. Be. Back!!! Thank you to everyone who made this a quick and incredible experience for us!!!

This is my favorite place to go for breakfast! I look forward to it nearly every weekend! The dining room is always clean, cozy, and decorated for whatever holiday is nearby! They offer a lot of breakfast, lunch, and dinner options, including a good choice of vegetarian options with meat substitutes, which I really appreciate! They also have a house made strawberry jam, which is really delicious, and I appreciate the fact that they always have Cholula hot sauce on the table already! The service has always been super nice and attentative as well, always keeping my drinks full and offering me drinks to go!

Visited 2/5/23 A festive business to enter, clean, and ready for Valentine’s Day! We was promptly seated just before they got busy, food was tasty, and service was top notch! Menu was pricy but worth it. A must try.

I recently visited this restaurant and had a wonderful experience. Despite only eating here once, I can confidently say that I would definitely come back again. The standout dishes for me were the biscuits and gravy, omelette, and the breakfast chimichanga, and pancakes which were both absolutely delicious. The biscuits and gravy was a unique take on a classic breakfast dish cooked perfectly and the gravy added a rich and savory flavor that paired perfectly with the biscuits. It was a comforting and satisfying dish that I would highly recommend. The breakfast chimichanga was another standout dish that I thoroughly enjoyed. The crispy outer shell(they offer that to be fried or grilled) was filled with a flavorful combination, which was then topped with a deliciously spicy salsa and avocado a perfect way to start the day. The service at the restaurant was also great, with friendly and attentive staff (name of our server was Shondra) who made the dining experience even more enjoyable with great recommendations. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant and can't wait to come back and try some of their other dishes.

Not only is the food awesome here but the employees are awesome people! They've really become more of a second little family everyone is so nice and caring! It's definitely my family's favorite spot for breakfast.

Excellent service from the time we were greeted & throughout the meal. The waitress was obviously there to serve, & my husband wanted a variation to a meal that she quickly left & asked if it was possible & quickly returned to say yes, & informed us of the slight up charge for the modification. The food was delicious, hot and better than the usual. Quality ingredients were obvious with my western omelet (which was huge & loaded with ingredients) including Boar’s Head ham & all ingredients had been chopped to a good, edible size. The hostess/cashier was friendly and efficient. We will return.

Very clean and very good food! Our plates were full of food and didn't spend a lot of money. I wish I knew our waitresses name because she did an amazing job! We will definitely be back.

We held our family Christmas party there. these dear people are so kind and accommodating. it is the perfect place for your everyday breakfast.

I'd you go on a Sunday, expect to wait in a line. The hostess did a good job of coming outside and calling my name so that I was not missed (not much waiting space indoors at the Madison avenue location). We were swiftly greeted and our food came out surprisingly fast despite the rush. We ordered the pesto omelette, Alex skillet, and cinnamon roll french toast. All were excellent. I also ordered a cold caramel coffee which was sweet but good. I don't think I've ever ordered here and not enjoyed my food.

Delicious! I ordered the guacamole and sundries tomato toast with two eggs over easy. In the picture this is not normally how it os assembled, but without ever having guacamole and eggs, figured I would do it all separately. All the ingredients work well with each other, and the plate came together nicely. The taste, temperature, and service was great. My waitresses were awesome! I enjoyed their service.. All in all, I am looking to make another visit to try other dishes.

The hostest and our waitress greeted us with a smile and was very friendly. We were seated right away but would have had to wait if we were 10 min later. The food was very good and the coffee was hot. The noise level was a little loud, but the place was packed, and people were waiting to be seated, so that was expected. Would not hesitate to eat here again.

I love the location of this restaurant, its just up the street from me. My sister and I's experience here was good. Very friendly waitress. Service was a little slow, but not the worst. The waitress forgot to give the cook specific details of my sisters meal (a different cheese to be used) but she quickly had it replaced and apologized. Good news! They can poach an egg correctly! I got the Indiana benedict and it was delicious. Prices are about average, and they have a huge menu. Just about anything you could ever want!

The food and service is always great here. The portions are huge and the pancakes are the absolute best.

So I've only been here once before, but it was a LONG time ago. I decided to try again and I cannot convey how impressed I am. I ordered the Martin's Breakfast Bowl and I can absolutely tell how much care and love was put into its creation and presentation. This is my first time back in over 10 years, but I don't know if I can wait 10 minutes to try something else. If I could give it 10 stars, I would. As an aside, my server, Natalie, was both attentive and yet not intrusive, but very kind and obviously loves her job. In short, a perfect interaction.

Recommended. Our server was wonderful and our food was really good. The breakfast chimichangas also come with chips, salsa and avocado slices smothered in blanco queso. The orange juice is fresh squeezed and the coffee is hot. The portions are huge.

The best breakfast on the southside of. You have to work hard to spend more than $10 a plate. The servings are huge and amazing. Everything has been perfectly the same for years. I just want to rub my face in the Huevos Rancheros until I get yolk in my eye. This was AGAIN an absolute amazing experience.

Whenever I am on the South Side I make sure I stop in. Food is exceptional with great taste. A varied selection is available. Try something new each time you go.

I have ate there twice, wasn't impressed. I had a omelet, the second time I went and it wasn't very Good, probably won't go back .The first time I went there for breakfast
It seems they were trying to rush me out of there , trying to take my plate before I was done eating. Not very Good customer service. The waitress didn't even come by
To pour another cup of coffee, I had to call
For her as she passed by me . On a scale of 1 to 5 the rating would give a 1

Make Way For The Regulars. This place does have great food, but while waiting at the door to be seated....The regular customers coming in after you are greeted and walked to their tables. The wife and I watched 4 groups come in after us and were seated ahead of us. Good food or not, we won't be returning.

So disappointed. I ordered the Spanish omelet with a side of pancakes, and I was so disappointed. The omelet was not an omelet, more like an eggy meatloaf with veggies. The chorizo was bland, too. The peppers and onions were not overcooked, which was nice. The pancakes were dry and powdery. The hasbrowns were good, and the service was good. The restaurant was clean. I really wanted to like the food, but it fell short of my expectations.

Shut the front door. Food this good shouldn't even be legal. I had the Southwestern Skillet with a side of a biscuit and gravy. The eggs on the skillet were amazingly fluffy and they piled on the toppings. It was the perfect ratio of hash browns to eggs and toppings. The biscuit though.. oh the biscuit.. it cut like butter and melted in my mouth.. I didn't know a biscuit could be so perfect! The gravy was really good too! This is a definite must visit! The outside of the restaurant looked a little sketch, but the inside was a nice family owned place.

Like Denny's but a notch above! Chipped Beef Gravy is good!. Most Lincoln Square Pancake House locations are not near enough for us to partake for breakfast. Regardless, we made our way down south to this location to finally sample the goods. Immediately was minded that I just walked into a Denny's like location. Crowds, wait, quickness of food flowing from kitchen. However, they actually know how to put the brown in hashbrowns with buttery flavor (wish more places would kick in some onions or seasoning though). Typical eggs tasted good enough. Bacon was crisp & very GOOD tasting. A couple of stand outs were the gravyies for the biscuits. The sausage gravy was a bit above par for typical sausage gravy served these days from anywhere and would recommend. The second gravy was the "Chipped Beef" gravy. Very difficult to find a place that serves it much less serves a decent tasting & creamy gravy. For once, honestly couldn't tell if either out of a can, but passed my litmus test for at least a proper plate of gravy either way you like from a locally ran chain restaurant! Thumbs up!

Pics Included.... Enjoy!!

Excellent. The turkey Ruben is very good. My husband had the ultimate angus burger and said it was one of the best burgers he has had.

Awesome hospitality accompanied by really great food. The Country Lady breakfast entree is to for for. Ramon and managers continue to win us for more frequent visits.

What a restaurant is supposed to be!. Lincoln Square is not ONLY a place to receive a great meal and a fair price. It is a family. Everyone welcomes you with open arms and treats you like the cousin they actually like;). I have been eating at Lincoln at least once a week since they opened three years ago. If I am going to support a local business they are my first choice.

Outside of the excellent food and service their humanity and compassion are what brings me back. On more than one occasion I have witnessed homeless people enter and allowed to eat at no cost. This charity is given from the heart and no effort is made to receive notoriety or credit. A favorite story of mine was that of a well liked elderly couple who would visit every week. After the death of his wife the Lincoln Family offered him the option of eating there at no cost from then on. This is incredibly rare in todays world.

All of the servers perform excellently and my personal favorite is Maggie. Maggie is quick to handle multiple orders and always with a smile. I have never had a bad experience and have introduced hundreds of others to their establishment. The naysayers and complainers below either visited on a VERY bad day or are simply impossible to please. The fact that it remains so busy the doors can barely hold the customers is evidence of their quality. You are encouraged to visit.....or you could go to Denny's. Again.

Stoops

Dissapointed. My family and i went their for lunch today, we put our name in and the hostess did everything she could to sit everybody that came in after us first, this will be the last time we will ever visit this shoddy establishment

Bad food, bad service, high prices. First of all, let me say that I am not a picky eater and I always tip and tip well when earned. I have NEVER taken the time to write a review until now. I have eaten there twice. I thought maybe I was there on a "bad day" on the first visit so I did unfortunately give it a second (and final) chance. It is with deep regret that I do this since I live right down the street and like to support local businesses in the area. With that said, I simply do not understand how the ratings are high and people like to rave about this place. I have had better service and food at mcdonalds. Two of our three orders were incorrect and no offer was made to correct or compensate for this. I am not an aggressive person so I just brought the mistakes to their attention and got no response.... so this is my response: this review and taking my business elsewhere.

You gotta try this place. To start off Nikki is the best, she has a great personality and a way of making everyone feel welcome and at home. Its nice to go to a place and get that feeling of being in a family oriented atmosphere. the staff is great, i have had Ramona, Olivia, Kelly and Maggie as my servers so far, and never had any problems, they were all amazing and very friendly. the service was excellent, and everyone helps each other out, which allows for better customer service. i never had to wait for anything.
the food "oh my god" the food where to start. it is probably some of the best quality food around. seasoning is great, not too little, not too much, but just right. it is also very affordable. they give you very generous portions, you get more than what you pay for every time, i have not tried the deserts yet, never enough room left when I'm done eating, but they look amazing, might come in one time just for them.
i will defiantly be back many many times in the future and I recommend this place to everyone.
good job everybody.

My husband and I love this place! We recommend it to all of our friends and family! On top of the wonderful food and the very reasonable prices, the server we adore is Maggie. We request her section every time. She is very friendly and funny with every guest we've ever seen her interact with and makes every visit memorable. Thanks to Maggie and the rest of the staff for creating our go-to breakfast and brunch spot!

The servers are as wonderful as the food!!. Our favorite servers are Maggie and Olivia. All of the servers are great, but, these two are outstanding!! The restaurant staff always treats the customers with the utmost respect and as though you are a member of the family. The atmosphere is so friendly and welcoming. I need a Lincoln Square "fix" at least once a week, more if I can make it!!

Maggie--server. My husband & I are regulars at this location and love Maggie as our server. Have never had any problems with any of the girls that work there. Everyone is friendly and really care about the people who come in. The food is great and portions are huge. Is like being in my home town again when we walk in. Eveyone has bad days, but can't imagine having bad service from any of them, especially Maggie.

SERVICE. Went to the house for breakfast. It was an excellant choice. The arrival time was 9 to 930am we were seated in less than five min. with an endless amount of coffee, and enough food for two people each. The only thing I believe needs addressed is around 9:45 the hole neighbor hood showed up. They need to go up or out to accomodate the guests standing at the front door. Good job! I watched Maggie and she was taking care of business too!

-----04 Feb, 2012-----

I'm going to the house this morning and will ask for Ms. Maggie to view the service since I am told the food is good. I will see for myself how good the service is or if anyone would have been able to please Ms. Kazandra. But I guess everyone has bad days.

Good food, bad service. I went there with my family for the first time. The food was good, but the service was the worse I ever had.
Her name was Maggie, or so. I don't think that was her real name.
She spent most of the time chatting with other tables. When she finally took our order, it took forever for her to bring our food. She did not worry about refills and the one time she came to check on us, she rolled her eyes as she was leaving the table. She had an attitude throughout our whole visit. All she did was talk to other tables and not worry about the service she provided my family and I.
I was a server while in college, but this "person", either doesn't know or don't care about her job.
It only takes one bad apple to ruin the reputation of a restaurant, and she is it. I will never go back, and will make sure no one that I know will either. And also I will post this on all of the pages I'm registered in. The service was just ridiculous.

GREAT FOOD, Service!. I've tried most everything on their HUGE menu!! Food is excellent, servers are on their toes! They also fill coffee mugs like pushers- and for each other! Good point, in my book!! We ASK for Maggie's tables- she is friendly, and has a great sense of humor- DRY!!! Nikki is the best!! They try to make everyone feel welcome, and keep that food- YUMMMMMM!! - comin'! So busy, with no advertizing in its 2 years of business- they GOTTA be doin something right!!
Thanks, guys!!

Food was okay but I would have to say this was the WORST service I have ever had !! The servers name magai it took her 20 mins to give us drinks she never came to check on us to see if we were okay or give us refills she just threw the check on the table before we even began to enjoy our food for ten minutes. Of coarse I still gave her a 15 percent tip but she deserved nothing. I will never eat here again .

Will definitely go return!. Fast and friendly service, delicious food and an extensive menu! I loved everything. I literally cleaned my plate when we ate here. It was during lunch hours but we opted for breakfast. My hubby is always a breakfast person but I have to be in the mood for it and this place sure did hit the spot that day. I couldn't believe I ate everything on my plate and neither could the hubs....because I rarely ever do! Had the belgian waffle platter, 2 mini belgians, eggs, sausage and bacon. I love that they have mini belgians, it satisfies your craving for a waffle and allows room for your other breakfast faves.

Hubs had a make your own omelette and he had everything in it except spinach w/cheddar cheese, it was fantastic. Even his hashbrowns were awesome. Cooked perfectly with that nice crunch, not over-oiled. He also ordered a side of B&G which was also great!

Can't wait to go back and try their other options!

Wow!!. This place was packed at 11:00 a.m. on a Sunday morning and the line seemed to never end. The wait was not too bad and it was definitely made up to us when we got our food. The hostess was delightful and witty. She joked around with the waiting customers and had a good time with her job. Our server was Rebecca and she was just as great! She helped me decide on a great breakfast. I had the Greek Fritatta, which was awesome. It was this huge fluffy egg with potatoes, onions, tomatoes, gyro meat and feta cheese. It came with this sweet and tangy sauce that really brought out the flavors of the fritatta. I also had the best pancakes ever!! They were sweet and melted in my mouth. My fiancee got the Meat Lovers Skillet with the pancakes as well. It was loaded with meat and potatoes. He loves his eggs sunny side up and it was the perfect combination with the skillet. The coffee was really fresh and hot and our cups were never empty. From the looks of this place it is a big hit in the community. If you go on a Sunday be prepared to wait, but it's definitely worth it.

After a viewer's suggestion, we decided to try Lincoln Square Pancake House. It was a Sunday morning, bright sun, and a packed house. We were seated almost immediately by a very courteous and eager host! After settling in our booth, another enthusiastic s
