This place has fantastic, wood-fired pizza and a great selection of beers, all with excellent service. If pizza's not your thing, they have a great selection of other food on the menu as well. Definitely worth checking out if you've never been before.

Really nice place. Apparently they've fuses two places next to each other, they each have a menu which is nice and males it more unique and more variety obviously. Very good local drinks. Awesome food and super nice and friendly service. Cozy atmosphere. Would come back once back in town.

Just killing time waiting for the red line one weekend, had no plans of coming to this location but when we saw that the red line was an hour out we decided to be productive with our time and grab a drink.
I had no idea that Sahms and big lug were connected but I’ve had both before and always enjoyed what I had so I had no qualms about walking in and checking out the downtown location.
We sat at the bar and were greeted right away with waters and a menu, having just come from the Irish fest our group wasn’t hungry, but decided to have some drinks.
I love martinis and decided to go with one, it was delicious! A well made dirty martini with gin, it was smooth and I certainly could of had 2 but decided to be “ responsible” and stick with one.
Location was clean and homey, with a decent amount of people for the hour, our bartender was also very friendly as well.

Really good place to try out some brews from their brewery. Prices kn the low side for a downtown establishment. If you’re looking for some good local beers, don’t miss trying them out.

So our experience was overall terrible but please read why I'm giving 5 stars. The service was horrible. Waitress admitted she was new and it was her second day. She was very frazzled, didn't know the menu and it took an hour and a half to get our food. The food was amazing! After trying to cash out for over 20 min I politely asked for the manager and he quickly responded. We discussed the service and he was very apologetic and compensated us well for our hassle and time with no questions asked. Stuff happens and good help is hard to find. I will most definitely go back.

This place is always good. Took my family with me and they each enjoyed their meal. My only complaint is, I asked for the Nashville hot wings & the waitress said I think you should get the hot sauce on the side. Well they charge you extra for asking for the sauce on the side and she didn't tell me this. Loved my dish but I do feel she shouldn't have talked me out of it, just to charge me extra for sauce.

This is one of the places my friends and I love to go to for dinner. They have great beer specials. I love their salads, especially the chicken salad, and the coffee cake slices that come with salads. We always go in a group and everyone gets something different. Everyone always loves what they get. And the service is great!

Awesome place to eat lunch & don't forget to get their delicious dessert i.e. Toll House Chocolate Chip Pie w/ a scoop of vanilla ice. Their server, Sam, is outstanding, friendly, attentive, & professional. She will get you what you need and answer any questions you may have. This place is very busy since the food & service is that GOOD! I highly recommend that you eat at the bar since you can seat yourself & receive service w/ a smile, accurate, & quick! Prior to leaving the restaurant, make sure they validate your parking lot ticket (complimentary FREE parking once you get your parking ticket validated) since parking to in their adjacent lot is $8!

Great decor, courteous service, a diverse menu, and of course, a wonderful beer selection. I've never had a bad mea here, and the service has always been top notch. It can be crowded sometimes, but that's just a sign of how good it is. Their pound cake just melts in your mouth. It's a great place for for lunch or dinner, you won't be disappointed.

The waitress was very ditzy but overall food was okay. They forgot my boyfriend’s salad until we asked where it was... &the pork chop was a bit dry. 6/10 would recommend. But they do have good alcohol specials! We were able to get $1 beers.

The food is good. Atmosphere is nice - pub-like on one side and kinda like an upscale BW3s on the other. Same menu for both. If you have ever been to Sahm's on the north side, the food here is similar. High-quality ingredients, complex flavors and blends - nothing crazy or off-the-wall - traditional food with some nice twists to mix it up a little bit, but not reinvent it. Very comforting and comfortable. If you're looking for a nice sandwich or fresh pizza downtown, you won't go wrong here. Portions are plentiful. Beer and wine list is adequate to take care of 90% of what you want. Give it a try - you won't be disappointed.

First time I went there was during happy hour on a weekday. Inexpensive apps and a decent selection of beers and ciders. Their wings are very hot (their mild is like medium at most places) and their cheese curds were excellent. I look forward to going back.

A hidden gem. The food is beyond delicious. The music is brilliant for "bareoke". After running a half marathon, the service there was by far the best I've ever had in Indianapolis. My server Matt was great! Pizza good, but the drinks were nothing but ice and juice! My company I invited was totally disappointed. I literally watched a lady overfill another customer's drink with ice then put a splash of alcohol.

Food and service was excellent. Our waitress was very sweet and very prompt with everything. She even thought the music was too loud and ask us what we thought and even turned it down. Atmosphere is great to. I will go back again as this was my third visit there.

I ordered the BLT Black bean salsa chicken wrap. The amount of chicken was more than generous, but I could find no bacon whatsoever and maybe 4 to 5 black beans in the entire wrap. Bit of a disappointment! However, my husband's fish sandwich was wonderful. Connie, Greenwood

Enjoyed it (this past Sunday) except that our service was lacking. We never got offered drinks. Finally, my husband had to go to the counter/bar and ask for our drinks, even though the table next to us got several drinks and refills-- as a server's family was seated next to us. Felt kind of odd that she ignored us to pamper them. She could have easily asked us what we were drinking. Forget about refills. The food was good, though. Our wait to be seated was about 40 minutes as we had a child with us. We were told about 15 minutes. The hostess was very nice and offered us drinks while we waited. We may visit again. Not sure.

Awesome place. Definitely will go back, the bartender was funny but I can't remember his name unfortunately. The decor of the store was amazing. I had the Steak and it was great, kinda lacked in some flavor but still good. Their fries were great aswell.

Food and service were good as always. I usually eat at Sahms in Fishers where all is good. Downtown has a strange policy: They won’t seat you until all guests arrive. I was told by hostess this is common for downtown restaurants. I’ve met clients in downtown restaurants several times a month for years. I have never run into this anywhere else.
I often arrive at my lunch destination early to review notes and prepare for my lunch meetings. That ain’t happen in this scenario.
My personal opinion about this policy is: It’s silly

First time visit & won't be my last. It was crowded but got seated rather quickly. Friendly staff and food was delicious. Definitely plan to come back with friends. I had wings. Very good.
