I’ve seen Nicks recommended several times on Facebook and finally tried it. Loved it! The fries needed some salt but they were fresh! We got the footling chili dog meal and bowl of chili which was a giant bowl and the New York dog. Added jalapeños to it and it was fantastic. Our bill came out to $22 in the end. For the amount of food it was worth it.

Can’t pass up the opportunity to eat here. Never fails to disappoint. Best chocolate cake I have ever had since the early 80’s!

Absolutely delicious chili dog but service on a Tuesday night was chaos. 2 ladies up front..neither seemed to have it under control. One guy ahead of us, no one behind us, but they were both stressed out and all over the place.

Always a treat! Cooked fresh to order, so everything was hot. My tenderloin was a little more crisp than I’d like it to be but I was over joyed with the size of it! What you couldn’t see is that it was loaded what lettuce, tomato, pickle and onions. My husband enjoyed the Chicago dog so much he went back in for seconds. We got the little one grilled cheese and fries and she enjoyed her food as well. Our son had Nick’s famous chili that he quickly sucked down. And Of course I had to sample everyone’s food and I was pleased. 😂

I was in the area during lunch time & wanted to try something local. Saw the billboard for Nicks & made a quick turn onto LaFayette Rd. I was happy upon entering that it was counter order style vs sit down/waiter because I was going to get it to go. I decided to stay. Long line to start but I didn’t mind - that’s normally a good sign. You grab a tray & choose from a couple of sides - I picked up some slaw which was nicely chilled. Next you order your main dish. I went with the 5 way. It’s a hearty serving. I’d recommend a 3 way for you anti pasta in chili type people. Check out was a bit slow but I liked the staff. They were friendly & seem liked veterans of this local joint. Seating was plenty & dining room was clean. Chili & slaw were both excellent. I’ll go back. Only negative is that you leave with that onion type stank that makes you take want to burn your clothes when you get home 😃 🤭

Place has amazing non-traditional Chili. Took my Dad for his 1st time the other day and he can't wait to go back!

Spentn $60 on half gallon of chilli, 5 beef signature hot dogs, and pies.... NO REGRETS!!!! 💜♥️🙏 Food so good, forgotbtobtake "before"The pictures .. The women who worked today work hard and fast and they got everything right. Thank you ladies 🙏

Good stuff. Not sure about some of the negative reviews but mine was great. Not only the staff but every one that walked in was friendly. A gentleman handed me a tray that I walked right past. Staff knew people by names. I will definitely be back.
