Absolutely delicious chili dog but service on a Tuesday night was chaos. 2 ladies up front..neither seemed to have it under control. One guy ahead of us, no one behind us, but they were both stressed out and all over the place.

I’ve seen Nicks recommended several times on Facebook and finally tried it. Loved it! The fries needed some salt but they were fresh! We got the footling chili dog meal and bowl of chili which was a giant bowl and the New York dog. Added jalapeños to it and it was fantastic. Our bill came out to $22 in the end. For the amount of food it was worth it.

Always a treat! Cooked fresh to order, so everything was hot. My tenderloin was a little more crisp than I’d like it to be but I was over joyed with the size of it! What you couldn’t see is that it was loaded what lettuce, tomato, pickle and onions. My husband enjoyed the Chicago dog so much he went back in for seconds. We got the little one grilled cheese and fries and she enjoyed her food as well. Our son had Nick’s famous chili that he quickly sucked down. And Of course I had to sample everyone’s food and I was pleased. 😂

Excellent chili and perennially award winning chili and great dogs.
Nostalgic loud 50s music. Not sure intentional or stuck in time. You can get slice of pie or cake?!
Hoagie and Hops has a modern day great chili cheese dog but this is likely half the price of that one and better.

Good stuff. Not sure about some of the negative reviews but mine was great. Not only the staff but every one that walked in was friendly. A gentleman handed me a tray that I walked right past. Staff knew people by names. I will definitely be back.
