Review Gallery Pastry Shop - Indianapolis

So have I been to the Gallery Pastry Bar downtown and it was nice however I was underwhelmed by Breakfast with Tiffany Hash but that was a couple years ago. I’m very glad I came to this location this time around 😄 I got the Sticky Chicken and Waffles. So delicious!! I’m in love with the black garlic sauce on the wings and the croissant waffle was rich, light and flaky! The slaw on the side was nice if anything I wish it was bit more pickled but it worked well with the garlic sauce. I also wish I had a wet nap tho to clean my hands but at the same time I didn’t mind licking sauce from my fingers 😂. My mom got the Breakfast at Tiffany’s crepe with a side of eggs and she loved it! We split an opera cake from the dessert case and enjoyed that too if you like chocolate and espresso flavors then go for it. 😊 Also our server was great and super helpful with helping me pick out a dessert. I’m looking forward to coming back hopefully on their Ramen and Wing night!

This is my 2nd Gallery Pastry branch that I tried and Gallery Pastry doesn’t fall short of standards because it ambience, pastries, food and service. It’s 5/5. The coffee is Lavazza, as always stellar and the pastries are just bomb! Pillow was such a swoon worthy, decadent chocolate and hazelnut combo that I was left licking my spoon for the last bits. We enjoyed a good 2 hours and they do have a 2 hour cap for dining considering how busy Gallery Pastry gets. Samantha our server was prompt, courteous and gave us just the right amount of time to ensure we took time to order, enjoyed our coffee and then ordered food and pastries. Gallery REQUIRES reservations and they have a pretty robust system which I loved. I do not prefer waiting and I could see the seating arrangement which was cool. Parking is decent behind Gallery pastry and they have a very lovely outdoor area which is so classy and insta worthy in summer. Feedback for the menu. It’s so confusing and so full or bacon in every dish, I had to ask no bacon so I could enjoy my shrimp and grits. The menu is confusing to go over. And the overall bill for 1 person came up to $40 which is pretty steep. I had a great time nevertheless calling it out cause many may find it steep.

Great food, cool atmosphere, and the service was wonderful. Had the scallop pasta and would recommend it to anyone. The sidecar drink was very nice and I really enjoyed finishing the meal off with a lavender croissant and cappuccino. Will definitely be back.

First setting outside is picnic tables. Dress appropriately. I tried so many thing. Sticky wings, yum. Crepes sweet and savory fantastic. I'm not a brie fan, but my friend loved the croissant and barata. Steak and eggs are basic but really good. The crepe with Chantilly cream and marmalade ate two. Lemon Drop loved. Waitress was a doll. She had great recommendations and checked in often. What let me down were the grits and corn salsa. Bland all around. Now, they were cooked to a perfect texture but no flavor at all. I will say my experience was wonderful for our Sunday brunch. Parking across the street not bad.

I’ve never been to a Gallery location that disappointed. The moment you walk in, you know you’re in good hands. The staff energy, the ambiance and vibe, and kitchen aromas all hit you when your foot steps in the door. Expect to pay $6-7 for a delicious latte, $10-17 for a filling entrée, and whatever dessert your belly has room for!

Delicious and phenomenal! We had a great time! The staff was really nice and happy. The prices were high, but not too bad. We went there for a late breakfast…very high end/gourmet. Loved it! The atmosphere is creative and enjoyable. I would highly recommend and we will be back.

We had a lovely experience at Gallery! Joshua! You're a rockstar! Thank you for being the most gracious host. The food here is superb and definitely made with love. The specialty coffees are so delish. I recommend the peach lavender latte. It pairs perfect with the croissant. Must-haves are the wings and the brulée trillium.

This was one of the best meals we have had in Indy! We really loved the food, drinks, service and atmosphere. We ordered the blood orange lemonade, bone in pork chops, and the crème brûlée crepes. We loved everything about the pork chops and is a “must try” entree. The sauce Espagñol was incredibly flavorful and the perfect compliment to the pork chop. Even the sides were delicious…grilled broccolini, multicolored baby carrots, and the buttery garlic mashed potatoes. The crème brûlée crepe was the perfect ending to a fabulous meal. Not too sweet, satisfying crack of the brûléed sugar and creaminess balanced out with the orange citrus sauce. And our server, Gail, was so friendly and pleasant. We are going to try brunch next. Highly recommend!!!

If you are looking for a delicious place for dinner , THIS is the place ! The service was outstanding, and our server Gale took awesome care of us ! Gale recommended the bone-in pork chop, truffle mashed potatoes, grilled broccolini, baby carrots. We both ordered it and OMG that dish was out of this world! The pork chop ticked all of the right boxes and was, without any question, the BEST meal we have had in a really long time ! Although we were stuffed , we HAD to make room for dessert. Of course , we cleaned our plates . We are already scanning the menu for their lunch/brunch options. We just want to try everything ! The ambience and vibe at this place is incredible , the service was impeccable, and Gale was simply a joy to have ! I cannot stop thinking about this experience and cannot wait to come back! I would give them a million stars. Thank you Gale for taking such great care of us, and to those who prepared our food, thank you - it was phenomenal; simply delicious !

Was super excited to try this new location and it did not disappoint! I sat in the bar area, but the dining room and outdoor areas also were so charming. Did a menu tour for some of the new items and would HIGHLY recommend the savory croissant fritters, such a creative spin. The chicken shawarma kabob dinner was certainly a hidden gem...I could eat the sauce on its own! Definitely ask for staff recommendations if you're on the fence, they won't steer you wrong.

This place has been on my Indy food bucket list for a while now. I was very very excited to try it out, however, my experience was less than thrilling. Atmosphere is stunning. It is chic and swanky for the type of place it is. I loved everything about the anesthetic of it. Like a hobo chic with mid century modern touches. 10/10 Service was fantastic. I sat at the bar and wanted for nothing. The bar tender was super friendly and attentive. Outstanding service! 10/10 Food was hit and miss. To start with the positive....the most amazing croissants I've had. Their almond was to die for! I had to take some home with me to enjoy throughout the week. The French toast latte was also to die for. Sweet and nutty but not overpowering. Highly recommend both 10/10. I ordered the fruit foster crepe and the sobro crepe. I can't rate the fruit foster as I didn't actually eat it. The menu description said "seasonal fruit" but it was only banana in it and I do not like bananas like that so I didn't try it. The sobro crepe was pretty good. My only complaint with it was the bell peppers were basically raw. Very crunchy and not listed in the menu description of the dish either. Only pablano peppers were listed, which there were some in there but they were also very crunchy. I ended up picking most of them out and the remaining crepe was really tasty. 7/10 for food. Overall, I will be returning to try other things in the menu as I'm hoping to fall in love with something more than the coffee and croissants. I would like to see the menu description actually represent what is in the dish more accurately as well but definitely worth a return visit.

The place is awesome! A very boho-rustic, relaxed atmosphere. I loved the live-edge tables and mismatched chairs! The food was amazing. It is still hard for me to decide if I had a favorite dish because I would order it all again! The sweet fritters were so fluffy and I HIGHLY recommend the lemon curd! If you have a serious sweet tooth- definitely order the fruit foster crepe. I ordered out of my comfort zone and got the sticky wings & waffle-- absolutely recommended!! They are not hot or super garlicky with just a touch of sweet. My son said the berry macaroon was to die for and had the perfect cruch. I ordered the pillow dessert to-go and it was perfect. It's a dark chocolate and hazelnut mouse that was very smooth!

The pastries were to die for. And they do Italian macarons not French which is nice. They're not as dry. Our server was lovely and we had a great time. Everything was just elegant

The ambience is perfect for a relaxed outing with friends or a romantic night. Plate options are few in my opinion, but enough to choose from. My go to are the savory crepes. Dessert options are abundant…many delicacies to choose from.

This place is delightful and delicious. We made reservations for breakfast on a Saturday. It was really busy but the service was excellent. The food was really good and we had crepes as a breakfast dessert (don't judge it was worth it) the apples foster - highly recommend and the lemon which was also good. For breakfast I had the 'merica and hubby had the two egg hash. The hash browns were perfectly crispy, our eggs were cooked perfect as well. We will be back.

Our server Josh made our lunch extra wonderful! Thank you for guiding us through the menu, your honest reviews, patience and all around elevating mood and kind words. The atmosphere and food are great too! Will definitely be back. I had the lemon crepe and cowboy crepe and they were amazing! As was the salted caramel latte!

Total hidden treasure. The bottomless mimosa specials make our topsy turvy world right again, if just for a brief moment. The Trillium croissant is life changing and the brûlée citrus is a delicious work of art! All the sides are fabulous and the omelettes are phenomenal. I’ve not had the crepes but my crew raves about them. Great coffee too...bad coffee is a total deal breaker for me no matter how good the food is. My only suggestion is adding toast to the menu. Breakfast requires toast!

If you haven't been to The Gallery and you live in Indianapolis, do you really live in Indy? Probably not, I'd recommend heading there right now, best pastries, best brunch, and best atmosphere anywhere! Thank you Ben and Allison for the amazing time!

A most wonderful place that is tucked away in Broad Ripple that you absolutely have to experience !!! The most amazing brunch on the weekends and a fabulous assortment of pastries... too many to choose from , so you just end up purchasing 1 ( or 2 ) of each !!!

Moved to Indy a few months back, heard about Gallery from friends since I work in the food industry myself. Finally went last night with friends for dessert after dinner and was blown away. The atmosphere is so unique and charming. The staff goes beyond to help. Love that it’s open later for dessert and drinks. The opera cake is to die for. Highly recommend, will be back soon for sure.

Cool little place! If you can, sit at the bar and watch your food being made. Berry compote crepe was literally to die for. Neat first time experience.

My favorite brunch spot! The menu is always updating, the champagne is 50% off on Sundays, and it’s always easy to get in and seated (with reservations)! The staff is so friendly, too!!
Adrienne Newman
The iced chai tea, capocolla di dorman and nettle croissant, and macaroons (raspberry, lemon, lavender, and chocolate sea salt) were excellent!

This place is ADORABLE! They have very reasonably priced pastries (some gluten free) that were soooooo delicious. We tried several and shared. The atmosphere was ridiculously cute. I will most definitely return!!

My new favorite place in Indy! My fiancé, daughter, and I went in this afternoon and tried the macarons, chocolate pillow, pb & geleé, and the creme burlee. I also had the berry bellini. Everything was amazing. I loved the chocolate pillow. Everyone was very friendly, the wait staff who helped us out and the chefs. We will definitely be back for brunch one day.

Always have the best service and best food here! There was a slight delay/mix up Sunday and they took such good care of us --- I had a hungry toddler and once they realized what was going on, there was a buttery croissant in front of him in no time! Love this addition to Indy!

The Gallery Pastry Shop is a real treasure! I am delighted by their work every time I go! The pastries are equally beautiful and delicious. Anything you order will be outstanding! Everyone who works there is friendly and knowledgeable. I highly suggest to anyone who hasn't been to Gallery, make it a point to go!

Awesome awesome and I’m a foodie. Wished I had known about it sooner. Can’t wait to go back. I had a salad (awesome) with a croissant (awesome) and chai tea (you guessed it, awesome). Got a few desserts - all awesome.

Didn’t want to give one star because I honestly haven’t eaten here. Second attempt though. First time I was told there was “a little wait”. That turned out to be forty five minutes to an hour. Just lead with that. Some may be willing to wait an hour for breakfast, I’m not. Second attempt I was sat at a dirty table, and the server spilled water all over it when attempting to wipe it off. Fine, accidents happen. Then I inquired about the quiche, one of the three breakfast items available through the week. They wouldn’t quiche for about hour, but I could have an omelet with “meat, veggies, both, or whatever”. The only sides offered were a croissant. Wish them well, but with so many other options, step your game up. Kitsch will only get you so far

Everytime I am here, I wish I came more often. The crepes are to die for. All the desserts are. The coffee is worth the 20 minute drive. I look forward to every opportunity we have to eat here. The croissants=delicious! And their special events....so awesome. Keep rocking Gallery.

This was our first trip , but definitely will not be our last! Chef Ben, Alison, and the staff were so gracious and welcoming. We tried several pastries, all delicious ! My personal favorite was Chef Ben's vanilla bean cheesecake . It was so good I just had to buy extra to take home. I highly recommend and can't wait to go back!
