Review The Journey - Indianapolis

Love this place! So many different options to choose from. The chicken on a stick was tender and juicy. The ribs melt in your mouth. Sushi was delicious as well as all of the other foods we tried. It will definitely be our go to restaurant when we go back to Indianapolis.

OMG! I can't believe I havent found this place before. The food is Awesome. The service was exceptional love their different kinds of coconut shrimp. The whole buffet is an awesome experience. Definitely will return to this establishment. Who knows it probably will become my favorite

First time here… it was ok. Food wasn’t very hot. Staff was great and attentive. Wide array of food choices. Other people look like they really enjoyed it. It just ok to my fiancé also and he loves just about everything with food.
Andrew Mason
Outstanding place, clean and plenty to choose from. Outstanding options. They do close from 3-5pm. 20.99 an adult. To add a soda to drink is around 3.00. Two drinks two buffets 48.00. We will return

First time to give 5 star to restaurant. Food quality and taste are fabulous.

All you can eat. Servers ok, but could be more efficient since drinks and clearing plates is the only customer service that they provide. Food is pretty good for a buffet. Most as well prepared and fresh. Sushi is excellent. Prime rib was top-notch this visit. Not so good last time we were there. Good value on Sunday. Mediocre value on Saturdays. Worth a shot if you haven't been there

The food is excellent. I think it is priced well for what they serve and the variety of options on the buffet. The coconut shrimp is excellent. The fruit and seafood are fresh. I will say that things go quick. Their are a variety of cook stations offering different things. It was very unimpressed with the "prime rib" it was unseasoned and tasteless. The clam chowder is some of the best I've had, You can tell it's not straight from a can. I recommend this place but I also recommend coming early

I haven't been to The Journey in a few years, but it is as good as I remember! The coconut shrimp was so good! That is worth the trip alone! Also, the stuffed mushrooms are really tasty! They have a huge selection of foods, and there is something for everyone here. Their dessert options are a little limited, but I did see they had crepes, which I think is pretty cool. Service was fast and efficient. It wasn't too crowded on a weekday when they first opened either. Lunch price for weekdays is 13.99 each, which I think is a great price considering all the options! Definitely recommend this buffet! 👌

This has become our Thanksgiving tradition! Love it here. Update on 11/23/23. Another thanksgiving in the books. Still 5 star

Great prime rib station for dinner. Sashimi and sushi always running out, they don't bring a lot out and the refill is super slow. Same with steamed fish.

Always a pleasant experience at 'The Journey'. The wife and I really enjoy this place from the variety of food, to the freshness and quality of it. Meats-pastas-sushi-vegetables-seafood-fruits-desserts, so much more and even a chocolate fountain! Staff is always tentative and friendly and the place is nice and clean. Great food good times.

Joe was reintroduced what customer service is all about! I mentioned to Joe that we were ordering wine because we're celebrating my son's birthday and after he saw we were done eating he presented him with a birthday treat plate of goodies. The food was excellent and every staff member I came in contact with was courteous, professional and fun! Thank you, Joe& staff whenever I'm in town I will stop by again. My son enjoyed everything!!
William Baker
The food was great, I went off a random review from a news site saying it was great. Everything was wonderful and the waiter was there at every chance to clear plates and bring drink refills. My only small complaint would be the crawdads being out of liquid so they felt a bit dry, other than that though the food was great.
Frank Beck
It's an above average buffet. I would gladly recommend this to anyone.
Travis D
The atmosphere here is the best part, however, avoid the restroom. It didn't look like it had been cleaned in days and there was literally puddles of urine on the floor. There is also a wide variety of food here but it all tasted subpar and there was nothing that was good enough to make me want to come back. There was also the typical buffet scene of kids and adults touching food then putting it back with who knows what kind of germs on their hands. If you want decent Asian food go to place that doesn't try to cater to everyone.
Unabomber
Very good food and a decent price, if you are going to do a buffet this is the one to try. Surprised the stars are not a little higher but assume it is because people who are antibuffet went to a buffet

Not great, not horrible. If you're in a buffet mood The Journey is worth checking out. It's definitely the biggest buffet I've been to. There are so many selections that everyone can find several things they really like to eat. Just like any buffet some things are fresher than others depending on their popularity. Some things are warmer than others. It is kind of cool to have sushi on the buffet. I pop in once or twice a year and that's plenty for me.

I have read reviews of this joint on the old Urbanspoon and the “new” Zomato. The ones from last year, and earlier: no bueno. The more current ones were much more complimentary. As a matter of fact I had planned on taking my Granddaughter there for lunch prior to viewing the Force Awakens,in IMAX 3D. Time constraints prevented it,we ended up going to some chain place.
Bhajaharimanna70
This is a upper class Chinese/Japanese buffet place. The restaurant is clean and a variety of fresh food including stir fry of your choice of vegetables, noodles and meat, shrimp available. The environment is much better than similar priced large seafood buffet place in castleton mall area. Lunch is very reasonably priced but a few pricey items are not on the menu.
Marie Shih
It's a great place if you want variety and if it's busy because the sushi is fresher. Just don't use the chocolate fountain, as it is not adult supervised by parents because on numerous occasions, I've seen young kids use their hands to dig out their food (i.e. strawberries, marshmallows, wafers, etc) WITH THEIR HANDS!!! That's what the bamboo sticks are for! Otherwise, worth going. Especially at night when they have crab legs!

Great price. Usually great food.. Totally worth the price. Good sushi and many other choices.

Not worth it,not much to choose, food not fresh.. I been bugging my husband to take me here for yrs and yrs.Until Dec.31 finally we had dinner. My expectations was way high considering the cost $20+ my friends reviews. But FAIL!l.Pork ribs taste frozen just poured barbque sauce, steak dry,hot sour soup disgusting, salads not fresh, desserts very limited not so good, chocolate fountain unsanitary the set-up most food not good which they dont have much contrary to what was brag. Only food I like were:fried chicken, grilled shrimp, salt and pepper shrimp. Nothing exciting or difference than the rest of chinese buffets in town. The place i expect nice ambiance, something lil bit fancy but no, the food its all the same. No reason to spend $20. It's worth HALF!. If I wanna treat myself for $20 buffet I'll take that budget to Market Buffet at Indiana Live or spend $26 that cover both me and my husband. Get good fresh food at Kimu Burmese Restaurant. Surely not coming back ain't wasting time and money to this place.

Cold food, rude employees!
Jason
Love it!. I always a favorite place of mine. I get a plate of yummy Asian food and a 2nd plate with nothing but sushi!

DO NOT GO!!!!!!!!!. This place is beyond terrible. Wife and I were treated so rudely by these people I would never go back even if I were a starving POW and this was the only food I could get. Told to wait by hostess for a table while others (of a certain ethnic persuasion) were seated immediately after we came in and were sitting in the lobby, as the only ones I might add.

After 4 parties were seated ahead of us that had come in after, we left. Had we been a different ethnicity we might have actually gotten a table.

You who patronize this place contribute to discrimination.
Eat At Mo's
Sticky, dirty, bland, overpriced, poor service, cleaning chemicals on the floor where little kids could get to them. Seriously folks, this all you can eat place is no bargain. Raise your standards a little a go to a real restaurant with fresh, tasty food served in reasonable portions vs stuffing yourself with crap.

We took our two youngest grandchildren( age 8 & 6). The buffet was amazing. The service was excellent! The cuisine was great. Lots of choices. We all can't wait to go back. We are from Illinois. It is a 3 hour drive. My husband & I plan on returning to Fisher and The Journey. We may make a family event of it. Five stated in our book!
Chris S
An upscale Chinese buffet, but not worth 4 times the price. We showed up at dinner when the place opened at 5pm to a long line out the door. Fortunately we got a seat, but unfortunately this caused a total mob mentality at the buffet line. I had no idea these people existed in Hamilton County. I felt like I was on an island of misfits from the backwoods of Kentucky.

Go at lunch time. The Journey is an excellent buffet. This is the only buffet I would ever eat sushi at. There's is not bad. The food is really good. It gets crazy busy, though.
The trick is to go during lunch hours. The price for lunch is a great deal! The price for dinner... is a different story.
Jacki
Amazing selection! Has different flavored and styles of shrimp, prime rib, scallops, conch, oysters, 9 different types of sushi, frog legs, and many other expensive treats. It also serves pizza, Mac and cheese, Chinese, and many American foods for picky eaters. Great and clean atmosphere.
S. Lodwick
Great variety. Here for just a few days to visit family and they took me here,
their 'favorite Chinese place,' now I've eaten in many Chinese buffets in my time but this one really surprised me. So many choices and all delicious. We went early and were seated almost right away. But I did notice on the way out they were extremely busy. Go try it you won't be disappointed .
Joe
Decent buffet. Very busy place. I wish the interior was kept up a little better, there were rips in the chairs and lots of stains on the carpet, and I wish the quality of the food was a bit better. Once those things are corrected, I think the price would be justified!
Dustin Blea
Overall pretty good restaurant. The food is a small step above a normal Chinese restaurant but the selection is outstanding. They have everything from sushi to Mexican to pizza. It is a bit pricey if you are used to a cheap buffet. I've gone on several occasions and never found anyone who didnt find something they liked so to me the price is worth it
IronTiger
The cheapest way I know to eat solid quality sushi and sashimi. Much better value at lunch than dinner
Indyfoodie
Way over-priced for the quality! This is just an over decorated strip mall chinese buffet. A lot of window dressing for run of the mill food! Decent selection, but dessert options are boring, standard chinese buffet fare and how unsanitary is that chocolate fountain! Sushi selection is limited. Wont be back at $20 per prsn.
Rqs
Great Selection of food. Very nice place, Great for family a lot of selection of food Asian and also a lil american dishes for picky kids. Wide variety of sushi but not really freshly made. Since its a buffet they make sushi for display and it will sit there until somebody wants it. Service was ok most of them are just quiet. The price for adult is ok but for kids its not really reasonable as small kids doesnt eat that much. Overall I will recommend the place if you want to try different food.
Jacinda
Me and my friend try to go to different Chinese buffets and they are always horrible. The journey is by far the best Chinese buffet I've ever been to. Food is phenomenal and the restaurant is actually nice unlike most Chinese buffets. People keep saying they don't have prime rib but they do.
Gamahocha
I've eaten there several times before both during lunch and dinner buffets. I went there 2 weeks ago and noticed that they've added new food choices for lunch. The place is clean and staff are waiting around to serve. It gets a bit crowded during noon so I recommend going there a bit early before the noon crowd comes. Oh and it's also a kid friendly place if anyone is wondering. The experience was pleasant but not my favorite over all. I guess it was just ok.
Craig
Pretty good place to eat. They have attentive servers and a nice selection of different foods. It is easy to find something the whole family likes an we left a little too full. The sushi selection was great tonight. We will eat here again sometime.
Susie
Great food. It is always good it would be nice to have scallops again
TJ
Forgot. I forgot in my last statement, NO PRIME RIB! The place states that they serve sushi and prime rib and yet there is none on the menu! Oh and dirty broken plates!
Ann
No thanks. Over priced, too much butter, & sushi selection is lacking!

A Lackluster Journey. Having driven past The Journey on occasion, and being a lover of seafood I was excited to visit this much hyped eatery on 96th street. The visit was lackluster, and upon leaving the restaurant it was decided that we would have been better off sticking with our usual sushi place out in Geist.
First, the sushi rolls were okay -- they had a good variety. But, the nigiri was rubbery, and dried out (meaning it had sat too long -- eek!) The rest of the available items were mediocre at best, and I was turned off by the mess that surrounded the chocolate fountain. The desserts were nothing better than what one can find at a standard Chinese buffet, and they were stale and dry.
I generally avoid buffets, but I had heard and read so many good reviews of this place, I figured it must be something special. For the price I was massively disappointed, and will not be making a return visit.
Mad Ewok
Yuck!. A prime rib buffet with no prime rib! We had to dig thru the stack of plates to find clean ones.
It was great being seated at a table that had a huge slant. Many of the offerings were worthless
and weak in flavor. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. I cannot get over the line in front
of this place, these people must believe in the mass volume consumption of garbage instead of
a quality dining experience. Before you go it may help to kill 90% of your taste buds and bring
yourself a clean shovel.

MamaRice. Our whole family loves the Journey. Not big on buffets, we enjoy the wide selection of sushi, plus all the seafood offerings. some like the american offerings but we like having a good old family get together with all the selections. the kids like the chocolate fountain. 'course we didn't expect gourmet dining and like the cleanliness, layout and convenience. the negative reviews are laughable when you consider is a BUFFET! in Fishers, not Manhattan....give me a break...Hoosier Snobs

Way over priced for the quality. I have been to the Journey three times in the past four months and each time I amazed that it gets worse with each visit. The buffet items are of extremely low quality. On my last visit on 9/13/11, the crab legs had an over powering taste of ammonia, the prime rib looked and tasted like something that had been pulled out of a dumpster. The Chinese dishes were flavorless and covered in heavy sauces. They tried to make it authentic by adding sea cucumber. Sea cucumber? Really?

Do yourself a favor and go to the Panda Express next store.

Great Buffet. Fresh food. Great selection of Sushi and the bar is very well maintained. Typical high prices for dinner times and weekends. But that's expected fir an Asian buffet. However I found the dinner selection to be well worth the extra cost. Amazing seafood selection. Overall if you like buffets this place won't disappoint.
Kim Gruner Robertson
AWESOME. This is the Best buffet of all time. The lunch choices are phenomenal but dinner is unsurpassed. Try it, you'll love it!! By the way, the chocolate fountain is yummy!

Reading reviews it seems people don't like buffets, and then find fault with this restaurant because it is a buffet. This place is always busy, at $19 a person plus drink(s). There are other similar restaurants opening in the area. What does that tell you? Here is what this place is. It is a buffet, with the largest selection of huge shrimp, large snow crab legs, clams, prime rib, and sushi you will see, anywhere. If you LOVE seafood and like variety, and don't mind crowds and walking up to a buffet to pick out your food, you will really like this place. If you are stuffy, picky, a prude, and rude...maybe not. If you don't like sushi, you are paying way too much, and wasting your time. But if the idea of a Chinese buffet on steroids intrigues you, and you enjoy crawfish, next to some eel sushi, with spicy tuna, maybe some crab, smoked salmon, stuffed mushrooms, grilled shrimp, and a piece of prime rib for starters...you can always go back for the clams in black bean sauce later. And you should give the Journey a try. I can't understand all the snappy reviews, unless it is from the people who want to keep this Fishers (37 & 96th Street) place all to themselves.
Dee
Feh. First off, schlepping to 96th St. I guess I expected something nicer. The banquet room for larger parties was as charmless as an IRS agent. Pitchers of soda and water sitting just inside the door to the room looked tacky. And I don't like being threated to get out after 90 minutes. Especially when they couldn't be bothered to seat my party promptly. After all that I was prepared to be annoyed. The food was no better than Lucky 8 or any other decent buffets I've been to. The fancy stuff they tried only partially came off well. The duck was NASTY. Greasy limp, duck is not meant for buffets. They had the nerve to call something tempura shrimp that was 90% thick batter. We're not sushi eaters so I won't speak to that side of the buffet. The best parts were the very fresh fruit, including mango that was delish, the chocolate fountain and the crepe station. But who goes to a chinese restaurant for desert? If it weren't so far away we might try it for lunch but honestly, I don't see the point.
Andrea
This was horrible. I love seafood but the moment we walked in I knew I want going to be able eat because the whole place smells like a dirty lake. 19.00 is way too much for a buffet that is little more than what is in your local chinese buffet. had the ability to be a nice place but its not.
Foodie
Same as super buffet but twice the price.
TheFAJA55
HORRIBLE!!!!!!. This place is HORRIBLE!!! the selection isover the top greasy and basically all the menu is golden yellow. A plate full of golden yellow is basically FRIED everything. Sushi is sub par to say the least. Drink refills are pretty swift though.
Jay
Idk.... I had higher expectations from what I had heard. It wasn't much more than a Chinese buffet. Perhaps a little more selection but the quality was just about average.
IceyP
Bring an extra stomach. My first dinner experience at The Journey was amazing. The interior was beautiful and clean for a buffet (dress nicely for dinner and casual for lunch). The service was adequate and the food was quickly replaced. The quality of food was reasonable, if not better, matched with the price.

The sushi selection (all you can eat?!) consisted of dragon rolls, spider rolls, among other fancy sushi that you would normally pay $10-15 for each kind. There was also plenty of seafood, Asian, and American foods and a large salad and dessert bar. There's even a chocolate fountain and crepe station too! It's about $22 for dinner so I don't go that often (probably better for my health anyways). However, I wouldn't mind paying $8 for the lunch buffet, which is the same as dinner menu minus the seafood and you only get the basic sushi rolls.
FLOeatsIndy
Meh. Excited to try an asian/seafood buffet, I was hoping for something spectacular. Not so much. Yes, there is sushi, salmon, oysters, a fondu fountain...sounds good. But sadly there are the same issues as with most buffets...things get cold too quickly, the sushi had a "stale" quality from sitting, even the fried items were on the colder side. I didn't have the guts to try the raw oysters...not interested in whatever might be growing in the "stale" state. The idea is nice, but the execution is still a buffet. If it's not a high fat item that can stand up to sitting under a heat lamp, it's the usual deal. Although I did enjoy some melted milk chocolate from the fountain!
Ken Schmidt
Awesome food at a good price. Sushi was great, good crab legs, mussels, and shrimp. Was a lot more than we expected. Definitely worth it, just be prepared to eat more than you want.
Jim
Shogani (so so). Over priced, food was buffit like. I guess it was what I expected. Fancey buffit but still one.
Sara
Great for the price. Just came back from eating there and thinking of taking my daughter for her birthday in July since she loves fish and especially sushi.

If I had read some of the reviews prior to going tonight, most likely would have never gone. Thank god I didn't. For people stating can get better food and quality at another restaurant is wrong when you compare all that you get. I am one of those people that buffets love, meaning I don't eat till I throw up and due to this I am skinny and eat till full, not bloated. To compare this to others is absolutely ridiculous to say that by paying $19 per person is too much. Yeal you can go to the country buffet for $7 to $10 per person (don't know since has been most likely over 10 years ago I went) but what do you get? Prime rib and mashed potatoes plus plenty of salad and ice cream.

Now to put things in prospective. When you go to a restaurant and get sushi as an appectitzer, you pay between $8 to $12 for this. You want crab legs, well pay another $10 to $20 per person depending on restaurant. Now that gets you the standard salad, rolls plus side dish, but you are limited to what they offer.

Want desert, then pay an addtl $4 to $8 per person. Well I love crab legs, forget lobster, never understood what all the fuss was about. They have hot/cold. My husbands all time favorite and hard to find is oysters rockefelter and they have that. The cost to pay in a regular restaurant costs at least $12 to buy. I never had a tasting for sushi till tonight and they had about 12 to choose from so I got about 6 to try and liked them all. They had fresh shrimp, cooked coconut shrimp, spicy shrimp and others that I did not try. But buy shrimp as an appetizer or as a main course, then add above the same figures.

They had all kinds of the typical asian food which I did not get, but loved the fresh fruit for desert plus dipping in the chocolate.

We came around 7;30 pm on a Tuesday night and had no problem getting a table and great service. But since we usually eat late, may not have a problem and if on a weekend on the "standard dinner hour" most likely will need to call for reservations or to get a larger table if we have family per reviews.

But based on getting just what we want per person and if we were to go to another restaurant, we would have spent at least double what we spent tonight. I would put this as a high end buffet restaurant and priced accordingly and correct.

To compare this to any other buffet where starch is "king" to fill you up; ie; potatoes/rolls/macaroni;
desert is ice cream or pudding and maybe a cake;
salads galore to fill you which include macaroni, potatoe also fillers is great if you have a large family and have to pay for children who may not enjoy sushi, crab legs, shrimp etc. So this could be pricey for children, but you would have to consider the age to consider since so many restaurants today may give small children free meals when their parents buy a full meal, which is great but unfortunately many times they "short" the server a tip for the "free meals" which they serve for 2 or 4.

So for a buffet and considering the per price cost to buy at another restaurant, you come at way ahead and save money.

And the wait, we did not experience this, but how many times when you go to a restaurant and have to wait between 30 minutes to an hour? If you never have to wait, then think about it, is there a problem especially if dinner time or weekends?

We will definitely be back.
Porkchop And Applesaucey
Two words... yuck eee. What's stuck to my shoe? Oh, it's just the floor! LIsten, this is for your own good!! Step away from the buffet... put down the tongs... you will hate yourself for it. The food freaked me out and wasn't created for man to consume. The place was packed though... quanity NOT quality. I never understood buffet style sushi. E COLI called and said "get back to the shitter stat!" Just sayin.
Kinchoi7
Party Reservation. Food is not bad. If you have a party reservation, be prepared to eat fast and be done in 90 minutes, so eat fast! Otherwise you WILL BE ASKED to leave. If you have guests come late and still eating, TOUGH, not the restaurant's problem. If you like to have time with your party and have a happy journey, take it somewhere else.
David
Not a fan of buffets, BUT.... Peaceful (for a large place), clean, friendly service and very good tasting food. There's something for everyone here. You may have to wait awhile, but what do you expect when everyone wants what you have.

P.S. wear flexible waist pants ;)
Ricky Jordan
SOLID FOOD. GOOD FOOD, AND I ENJOYED THE PRIME RIB.

THE FOOD WAS GOOD BUT.... We dined at The Journey on a Saturday evening and since they close after lunch and re-open at 5 we arrived about 15 minutes early to already find a line outside in the cold. We had tried to get a reservation since we were a party of 7 and celebrating a birthday but we were told that they only reserved tables for parties of 8 or more. We stood in the cold as several people cut the line to move ahead of us...a little irritating. We were led to two booths and asked if there wasn't a table available where we could all sit together and were told that all the tables were taken by people with reservations. Irritating!

We had a very nice waiter who attended us fairly well...just one time when the plates piled up a little longer than was comfortable.

Since there were a lot of people at the buffet at the same time immediately after opening, it was unclear where we should begin so we ended up in a huge line in front of some hot foods only to discover that it did not progress to the remainder of the buffet stations and had to make our way to another line near the sushi. Because of the crowded conditions and the length of the lines, there were several "discussions" around me when people broke into a line to grab an item and then move on.

We were impressed with the freshness and quality of the sushi rolls. They were being made right in front of us. This is the first buffet where we found both cold and hot crab legs in abundance and they were both of very good quality...sweet and firm meat.

The length of the lines and the difficulty of getting in and out of the booths kept us from going back for more so we probably missed several stations.

The lobby was full on our way out and lined up down the hallway making it very difficult for us to exit. I would be very concerned if there were an emergency if there could be an orderly and timely exit.

So, although we enjoyed the food, we probably won't return due to the problems we encountered on this visit.
Mike
While it was busy today (sat) at lunch I would have been very disappointed had I paid the dinner price. The selection was varied but nothing popes out as great or even okay though there wasn't any bad dishes. The Journey was spectacularly ordinary and for the dinner price that is not a good thing. If you are looking to spend a premium price for dinner I would go elseware.
Shelley
Absolutely the Worst Service I've Ever Encountered. I went to the Journey on January 9, 2010. I attempted to call ahead and make reservations for 6 people at 7 pm because i know that place is always busy. The staff who picked up the phone said not to worry about it and it'd be no problem to seat us.

At 7pm we all arrive at the journey for my birthday. We put in our names and they tell us about a 15 min wait. Forty five minutes later we are still standing in the middle of the lobby waiting to be seated. Finally a member of our party politely asks when will we be seated and the staff member proceeds to tell us that she forgot about us.

We are seated shortly there after by the manager who seats the six of us in back to back booths and not together. Usually, when you tell people there is a party of six you actually want to be seated together and not in separate tables. We attempted to move to a larger table when that waiter tells us that that table will not seat 6 and that "we need to ask him before we move anywhere." The manager even meets us at our table to tell us that they seated us the best they could and that if we wanted to be seated together we should come at five or earlier. Had I not been with 5 other people i would have left immediately at this point.

The food was ok. Nothing that was worthy of 20 dollars evening buffet price per person. There was a dirty appearance. Tables not bused and wiped down well. The chocolate foundation was disgusting and more like a chocolate retention pond not a foundation that contained bits of other people's food that floated at the surface.

I have to say that this was the worst dining experience of my life. It's overpriced and my friends and I were treated like garbage on my birthday. Customer service or cleanliness is clearly not a priority at the Journey. It's really saying something when you say there was detestable service at a BUFFET restuarant. I will never go back to the journey ever again. I hope this spares someone else the unfortunate task of going to the Journey and being treated in such a horrible manner.
Rory
Great food, good selection. Are you kidding? A seafood, sushi, and prime rib buffet? I've found paradise! The prime rib is very good, too- not some cheap cut of meat. The buffet is big enough that everyone should be able to find something they like.
Aryann
Paradise. The is without a doubt the best place i ever ate at. i don't understand anyone that doesn't like the journey. the service is spectacular and the food is to die for. i would eat there again anytime and or any day!
Keith P. McHatton
Man for what you pay for at this place.. You can get better food for cheaper at House Of Cheung, BJ's Mongolian Grill in Clearwater and so forth. Was not impressed.
Tonya B.
Huge Buffett. All the sushi you can eat, with other American and Chinese selections. The only restaurant where I see fried frog legs on the buffett. Kinda of expensive, but worth it if you have a big appetite.
Van
Awesome spread!. Great amount of food to choose from...best value for unlimited sushi!!
Tim
I went to journey to try the sushi. Herd a lot of good things about the place. Lots of roles at lest ten defrent type. Most of them were very good but the avocado was a little to soft. There was not much eels when it came to sushi very little maki and I saw no sashimi. All and all if your looking for sushi and not trying to brake the bank this is a good place to go.
Daulton
It was a delicios meal at a tasty price. It was a huge amount of food but does not follow the normal all-u-can eat, it was amazing.
Gary
A pile of throwup outside turned me off

A Journey Worth Taking. Journey is a wonderfully feng shui buffet of Asian staples. The atmosphere is elegant, yet casual and the staff are very professional. From basic Chinese staples, like sweet and sour chicken to freshly prepared sushi, this place has a selection for every palate. Chefs diligently work before your eyes to keep the food in ready supply. Buffet lines include a fruit bar, fresh shrimp, oysters, and crawfish, salad bar, Chinese food, grilled flavors (such as prime rib, roast beef, salmon, halibut), American cuisine (pizza, garlic bread, mashed potatoes), dessert, and an extensive sushi bar with skilled sushi chefs working hard to keep their selection plentiful. The fondu tower with fresh fruit and made to order crepes top off their vast array. This place is great for a speical date or a family lunch.
