Just passing through... BUT-Good Food, Good Service... If you ever have the pleasure of getting Becky as your server, you are in for a real treat!!! We didn't have to ask for a thing, that's so rare! From refills, to napkins to to-go containers, she took care of us every step of the way, with a Smile. Charm. And a bit of Humor! We almost tipped her more than our meal was worth. Lol! She deserved it! Thanks. Becky~

A family restaurant fit for me and mine. We love this place always great experience. Very affordable and you will leave there with a carryout box. Stinng in the big chairs out front is so satisfying seems as if the front porch is my house lol. This a fellowship spot for me and my church people.
Employees at this location are very friendly and welcoming. Loved that the fireplace was being used. Floors and restrooms needed cleaning. Store is always fun to browse but a bit pricey. Food was just okay. Had chicken and dumplings with one piece of chicken. The three entree platter with steak tips, shrimp and chicken strips was pretty good (steak was good enough to get again, shrimp nothing special and chicken strips were blah). Like the huge amount of side options. Would go back again but maybe try the all day breakfast menu...
Was meeting my childhood friend for brunch. We were seated quickly in the middle of the room. People at tables on both sides of us so it was a bit difficult to hear each other talk. My friend asked for cornbread but was given biscuits and gravy instead. She let it slide and didn't let the waitress know. I tried the new cinnamon roll pie breakfast and it was delicious. The fireplace was burning and a beautiful Christmas tree was in the dining room. The gift shop had some beautiful and affordable things. I asked if they had ribbon candy for my husband but they said they didn't get it this year, he will be disappointed. But I got him some other nostalgic candy.
The service is excellent. We were seated immediately, our order was taken and we were served quickly. Courtney, our waitress, was the perfect server (polite, prompt, and thoughtful). I enjoyed the rainbow trout and my husband had the country fried steak. This place was busy on a Friday evening, but they had no trouble serving the customers. I recommend this restaurant.
Another less than positive experience at Cracker Barrel. It may be that I just expect too much in today's work environment. When we traveled, CB was the "treat" of the trip. It may have cost a little more, but the food was hot, well portioned, and the cool atmosphere and the little store to look around while you waited for a table (they were always packed) made it worth the expense. What happened? Now the food is not quite hot, they packed us in tight (I could reach out and touch a table on either side without stretching) the wait for a refill is long (those are not big cups and glasses), the portions are smaller and the wait staff uncaring. Still, it was Cracker Barrel, so the food was good, but when we left it was just a meal, not an experience. If CB wants the help of an observant ex restaurant guy, give me a call. I have a few suggestions.
1st review: I have been eating here for years, and I'm always happy with the food. The meals are more home cooked style. I usually get the chicken and dumplings with 3 sides and cornbread. Good stuff!
2nd review: The food and service were both great! The cheesecake pancakes and homestyle chicken blt were both very good. I also recommend the lemonade here.
3rd review: Good again as usual.
Apps served before receiving drinks. No utensils with apps. 1hr 15min from seating until food delivered. Then only after speaking with the manager. Some food hot. Some warm. Some room temp. So apparently not timed correctly in the kitchen. Usually this location does better.
Went for breakfast right after opening. Wasn't busy just yet. Our waitress name was Tina, she was amazing! I wanted my usual of biscuits & gravy but also wanted to try the new breakfast special being offered (didn't come with B&G though) but Tina made it happen! Items received as ordered : scrambled eggs, sausage, hashbrown casserole and the new cinnamon roll pie, with my side of biscuits & gravy!
My sister and I went a week ago for breakfast and lunch on different days.breakfast was great had biscuits and gravy it was delicious....when I had lunch it was chicken and dumplings...it was great love there chicken and dumplings ..I don't think anyone makes it better...nice friendly waitress and staff...store is clean... highly recommend it ...
Management is very good food is priced reasonable and is Delicious!!.omg they just got these bloody marys that are amazing!!!!! I love their hash brown casserole!!! And their country fried steak
