This was such a cute place to eat out on the patio in nice weather. The food and drinks were good. I don't think I would do their savory dutch baby again, but I just recently haven't been loving smoked salmon for breakfast. However, I believe you can switch it out to bacon if I recall correctly. I was happy that had oatmilk for their lattes. Everything was delightful! I will definitely be back.

they have this cute fire pit in front to keep you warm to enjoy the crisp weather in the fall. Loved it. I always enjoy myself here! I had the greens salad with falafel on top. I love fresh good vegan options. A glass of wine and i’m in bliss. Thank you public greens ❤️

I was only going to give four stars due to 12 attempts of trying to call to place my order and they didn’t pick up the phone, which delayed my travel. Despite that once I got there, the service was excellent and the food was amazing! I had a vegan gluten-free falafel burger with fries and a vegan gluten-free lemon bar it far exceeded my expectations. Due to being allergic to all of the four major allergens (PB, wheat, dairy, eggs) it’s hard to find good food that won’t make me sick. Thanks to Public Greens my taste buds, are happy😀

I'd like to say first that this location is the best one.
It's right on the monon trail so parking around the area is definitely a hit or miss.
Service is always great, everyone on the staff is really nice and helpful.
They have limited seating inside and outside, it gets busy but I've never had a problem getting a table.
I go here quite often and the food has been pretty consistent in terms of quality and taste.
Overall if you're looking for some clean food that actually tastes good definitely check this place out.

I love the mission of Public Greens. The food was special. Very tasty except that the falafel had an extreme amount of salt in them. When I got home, I couldn't drink enough. The curry lentil soup had a delicate taste. The best lentil soup I have had. I got the wrong side, but it was delicious. My friend loved the salad bowl with falafel. He thought the dressing was particularly tasty and enjoyed the dish overall.

swarm in the sprinkles
The open space is wonderful. Plenty of elbo room. Nice view of your garden and of the Monon. The 3 server "Swarm" that delivered our water and coffee on the deck in the sprinkles before our meal was impressive and entertaining. Strong first impression. That service was consistent throughout. Public Greens was a good pic to enjoy my Father's birth day. Thanks! I will be back soon.

Very pleased with the food . Only downfall was there was no kids menu. Love what they stand for and the thought put into every dish. Fries were overcooked but overall everyone in my party was very pleased

Cale gave great service at the counter! I just got a large coffee. I like the atmosphere and the little pods outside are really cool. The staff all was very nice and it is good prices. There seems like a lot of cool things you can buy and a lot of potential for a great time! I definitely will be back!

Cute farm to table spot along the trail to grab a bite. If the weather is nice, I recommend sitting out on the patio.

Small modern place with indoor and outdoor setting. My Okonomyaki was very good as was the corn muffin we shared. My daughter said the Smoked Brisket Hash was good, but a little dry, along with the carrots being undercooked. The outdoor seating is next to the Monon Trail so it can be fun for people and pet watching or I suppose annoying due to the high traffic depending on your disposition.

This place is so cool. What a great concept and use of space. Menu and quality of food is just amazing. Fresh ingredients by a staff that genuinely seems glad you are there and wants to make sure you're happy. You have to try it.

Public Greens has a great mission to help the hungry in Indianapolis and Marion County. Their food is very good and some of comes out of the gardens in front of the restaurant. Give it a try I think you will like it.

Great food and good portions, with an awesome friendly staff.
It was our first time here and the hostess took a minute to explain the entire menu to us.
Not only that, but one of the workers noticed my steak was a little overcooked when it was brought out to me (still delicious), and he went ahead and brought me another one without me even asking.
We will definitely be coming back!

Great relaxed vibe, excellent small dishes. THe kale Waldorf, soba noodles, fritters, vegan chili with quinoa, hot-steamed spiced apple cider and the roasted vegetables are all excellent! The Dahl and potato leek soup are okay. I would skip the fried polenta and collard greens.
