Okay, we visited this place on a hump day afternoon. Super chill and cozy. Definitely my kind of LBC (Laid Back Cadillac) atmosphere. The service from Jenna was great. Very attentive and knowledgeable. Ordered the famous Fish & Chips and an order of Scotch eggs. Overall pretty good. No complaints.

So good that I am constantly looking for shows at the Hi-Fi just so I have a reason to eat this Buffalo Chicken Sandwich again. Fries are awesome as well, and all of their sauces are so good. I am not a big ranch guy but their ranch is phenomenal.

I had a really great time here with some close friends. The atmosphere is fun and cozy. They were playing the BEST R&B playlist that day! The food was good and the staff was super nice. The espresso martini is a must! Everything on the menu sounded amazing, but I chose the chicken fingers and fish. I don't eat a ton of fried food, so it was a bit much for me but had great flavor and the portion was just right. My friends enjoyed their meals. Don't pass on dessert either. The bread pudding was so delicious.

Got our food to go, bacon burger, French onion soup, and a club sandwich. The soup and sandwich were crazy good, rich flavor and quality ingredients. Burger was alright, the onion ring on the burger was the hero with its breading which leads me to believe it’s their fried food that is tier 1. They did forget our fries and substituted for an additional cole slaw. Overall definitely a cool atmosphere when I picked up so next time will dine in.

I grew up coming to Red Lion frequently with my family. I have lots of great memories here. Food is consistent, comforting, and the staff are always very on top of it. Owner is very nice as well. It is a fun place with a relaxing vibe. Elephant ear is amazing and reminds me of being little.

The fish and chips and chili were very good. Everyone in our group liked their food choice. One person in our group mentioned that the Scotch egg was good (from their last visit). Great beer selection. The Guinness was poured well and some great IPAs!

Stopped in after the Colts game to enjoy some French Onion soup and my friend enjoyed the fish and chips. Great place to hang out and watch a game. I give the soup (my favorite always) 3+ stars out of 5. But please don't serve a tea spoon, wash a soup spoon next time, It was hard to manage. The server was very friendly 👌😊

Amazing fish and chips! The fries taste home made and the mozzarella sticks were the absolute best! Only thing I didn't love was the shepherds pie, but everything else was so good it made up for it. Oh, salad was amazing too

Best fish and chips I've ever had. This is my go to stop before any show in Fountain Square. Prices are great, food is excellent, beer selection is good. Hoppopotamus on draught. Staff is super friendly and attentive.

Freaking fabulous! Came in for lunch, I had the Buffalo Burger, it was hot and juicy. But the fries, ohh the fries! Those fries are something to die for, hot, crunchy, soft in the middle and a course salt added to the delightful experience! Super great atmosphere, I like how the lighting isn’t super bright, it just makes you feel comfortable.

Andrew was our waiter and there was only one other wait staff. He stayed on top of our table, including everyone else’s! The food was great. It came out quick and hot. Thank you for a great dinner experience. In a climate with horrible wait staff, Andrew was awesome.

Red Lion Grog House is a British style pub, dark and a bit gritty. We've eaten here several times and have always been happy with meals. The staff is friendly and efficient. We don't drink, but I hear the selection of beer is abundant. Today we had a fish sandwich and some cheesy tots, we cleaned every crumb from the plate. Excellent!! Good music, too.

This was my first visit to Red Lion, and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal! I had the steak and chips. The steak was cooked to order, and came with a very tasty horseradish dip. I added the grilled onions and mushrooms, and it was a good choice. The restaurant was welcoming, and the service was prompt and courteous. My drink was never empty, and our food was brought out quickly.

New owners, same great staff, same great fish and chips, but oh, you have to try the espresso martini after dinner! It’s my new favorite drink! I can’t wait to see what the new owners come up with next!

Discovered this little gem a few months ago and I’m a forever “regular” now! Great cocktail menu and the food is amazing! The hamburger salad is a MUST!

Great place! The staff was very professional and nice, and service was quick. I ordered the Ruben burger and it was probably the best one I’ve had so far! I’ll definitely be coming back!

Love this place! Great drink prices, and some interesting food options. I highly recommend this place for a first date, or business lunch.

There's nothing about Red Lion that isn't amazing. The atmosphere is just laid back and inviting, a place you can bring your kids to but also go out for a nice dinner with friends. The food is unreal. Everything tastes so fresh, such a unique menu, and the ranch... out of this world. Highly highly recommend Red Lion.

After Jessi's mid-terms her, Sarah and I went for lunch and the Red Lion Grog it was a by chance choice. It was great food and service. The price for lunch was excellent. Great food for a good price! Highly recommend it!

The food was really good and the prices are reasonable. It took a while to get our food but they were very busy (tenderloin week) it was worth the wait and the staff is very nice.

The girl behind the bar was nice and helpful, we were out of staters. She made the best bloody Mary‘s and they have the best veggie burger. The Portabella mushroom sandwich was not great.

I had a terrible experience here. We waited a very long time for our food and when it got there the chips were burned and tasted like old cooking oil. I ordered the blanket bangers and the pastry (the small amount that was on there) was undercooked and gooey. I couldn't get the waitresses attention to let her know the problem and she never checked on us after bringing the food to the table. When she finally came back everyone was done eating and I let her know my food was not prepared properly. Then she just took my plate and walked away to get our check. My boyfriend was in the bathroom when she came for drink orders and she never came back so he didn't get one. At the end of the day I was very excited for the food but I ended up with a bad taste in my mouth.

We love this place. We have never had a bad meal. My whole family loves it. Bread pudding is to die for.

This was not my first trip there but it will be a while before I go back. Generally we have a great experience but today (3-27-17) it took 15 minutes for the waitress to even acknowledge us. She took just as long to bring our drinks. We wanted an appetizer of fried pickles but she skipped straight to the orders, when asked if we could change part of the order she literally told us it was too busy to do that And come back on a slower day if we wanted to do it. We ordered a sandwich and chips and asked to add a cottage cheese to it, well the sandwich was brought with no chips. When we asked for the chips she brought French fries and when we clarified if those were chips the waitress rolled her eyes and stated yes chips mean fries and walked away. Not one time did the waitress smile or make us feel welcomed in the restaurant, even after us (a table of 4) saying thank you for everything she brought. We also were half way done with our meals before stopping the waitress to ask for drink refills because we were completely out of a drink. Red Lion is usually a go to for us and we typically enjoy it but today has me feeling like I don't want to go back.....i didn't even feel comfortable in there today. Bad attitude from the waitress and spent over an hour and 15 minutes in there with most of it waiting to even be acknowledged. I probably won't be back sadly, because I used to really enjoy it in there.

FANTASTIC! Cool Dark aesthetics, sweet staff, yummy food! I recommend the Bubble and Squeak and Piccadilly Punch!

Solid food. Service was great and the tap beer selection is awesome. I'll be back because I wanted to order everything on the menu and won't be satisfied until I've tired it all.

This was my first time there and I was very disappointed. Poor service. Our breaded mushrooms were served still ice cold in the middle with the wrong dipping sauce. The waitress didn't give us silverware until after our entrees were served. I ordered a salad but didn't get it until I asked for it and then the waitress tried to guess the salad dressing I had originally asked for. A different waitress was sweeping a rug next to our table with a broom and pushed the dirt right at us. The waitress was aware we were disappointed and said nothing to address it. She simply grabbed our plates and brought back a check. Not even a "have a good night" when there was only one other table seated. I will definitely not be going back or recommending it.

Lunch was great! Jeff was our server (great guy - answered all of our questions, made good suggestions, even allowed us to change our order when we discovered we had three orders of fries coming.) Chips and curry was our appetizer: chips, as in fries, and we went for the spicy curry dip -- crazy good. My fish and cole slaw were tasty, but Chris went for a burger with cheese, bacon, jalapeños and peanut butter. Yes, peanut butter. Jeff said he would like it, and he did.

Great burger if overcooked a bit. Excellent service. "Chips" were soggy and way overcooked, tasted like they were fried 4 times then microwaved. The kicker was the splinter under my fingernail the table gave me, still quite painful. I'd give it another go, if someone else is paying.
