What an awesome coffee shop. The barista was extremely knowledgeable, patiently answering my questions about the roast origins and uses. I even got some nifty recommendations about what to visit in the city.
Loved the small reading nook by the windows. Great experience!
*Update 1 year later: Still phenomenal service, and the honey latte is delicious! New favorite!

BEST COFFEE IN INDY!
Dairy free people: the mocha made with macadamia milk is the best non dairy drink you'll ever have.

Bee Coffee Roasters had some of the best coffee I have ever had. While I was in town I went there at least twice a day. They also typically have a wide selection of coffees to choose from and even have some exotic brews.

Bee is my favorite local roaster, hands down! Their variety of coffees is incredible and it seems like they have a flavor profile to fit every person’s tastes — from fruity and light to chocolatey and rich plus everything in between. They even have a bourbon barrel-aged coffee that is oh so smooth. Inside the cafe, the staff is super friendly. I also love that they’re a little nerdy (like me).

Great service. There was only one worker and she did such a great job gettung everyone taken care of quickly.
The coffee is wonderful I had a salted Carmel Mocha latte. Thanks!

Awesome all year, especially for conventions! Great coffee and breakfast for your sweet tooth. Super friendly staff. One of my favorite spots in Indy. Be sure to try their coffee! The place even has a great smell.

Visiting from Cleveland and my hotel coffee is terrible! So glad I found this coffee and pastry shop. I saw the turquoise color from the street and I had to go in!
The drip coffee is amazing and the croissants are the best I have ever had, baked fresh daily and locally. I have come here every morning since I got here and I will miss this local gem!!

Love this place. Very friendly and great coffee. They always stay open 24 hours during Gen Con and theme the shop and drinks. They also wear costumes that weekend. I usually stop by at least 4 or 5 tines during my stay in Indy for the convention.

Bee Coffee Roasters is hands down the best coffee shop in Indy. The beans, the variety, the house made sauces, the atmosphere, the staff, the owners, and so much more. I am about to leave Indy, but I can swear to you that any time I’m back this will be the ONLY coffee shop I come to! Thanks for such an incredible experience, Bee’s!

Sadly Bee is no longer at their Downtown Indy location……i hope they gather themselves and join us here in center city again….I WAS So glad to have Bee in the downtown coffee game! Their barrel rested/aged roasts are so uniquely flavorful. A must have for any coffee OCD person like myself.

GREAT Coffee. Wanted to get that out of the way ~ rude service. Not everything is on the menu. Guy working the register barked back to me after i ordered the coffee cake..coffee cake? Yes? Yes?! Although tip jar was obvious on the counter it was rudely stated here's the tip jar and moved out in front of us..and not nicely put down on the counter. Were not an inconvenience and we always tip. Would've had a better if you gave us some singles instead of the 10. After paying they gave our coffee to someone else who came after and didn't remember that we paid. No line. we walked right up to the counter when we came.

I love the latte made with macadamia milk topped with Honey! Their espresso has the best flavor of any coffee shop I have tried in Indy!

Great place! Friendly staff, excellent brevés, cool atmosphere! In Indy for a week long convention, hubby found this unique place early on in the week —we do not frequent Starbucks or any other big box coffee stores, this place was perfect! Get a punch card if you're here for a convention, you'll definitely want to fill it up!

A must go to in Indy. You won't regret it. It's worth it all!!

Enjoyed the atmosphere, coffee OK but not as good as Starbucks, sorry.
Justin Houdeshell
Great drinks at good prices, I can't understand why anyone would go to the Starbucks when this is around the corner. #supportlocal #coffeebuzz

Great place, great place, a must for those who like small coffee shops...not to mention, a Gen Con life savior.

Bee coffee is the best and the service is great!!!

Great coffee downtown! Has become an office tradition on Friday.

The two drinks we had were made well and tasted as they should. The baked goods are from a food service company. The blueberry muffin had an odd taste, kinda old maybe. Had a gummy texture. Definitely go for the chai tea latte.

Delicious brew. Non-franchise, small shop atmosphere and delicious coffee. Great place.
