The Meridian Restaurant was a fantastic place to enjoy a great meal and have a delightful conversation. The warm ambiance was comforting and relaxing after a long work day. The staff were extremely friendly, kind, courteous, and helpful. The food was absolutely delicious. We started with the corn purée. I selected the salmon for my main course and was pleased with the decision. My colleagues both had the boar Bolognese. We ended with the donuts. Great location, great atmosphere, great people, great food, provides overall great satisfaction. Thanks Meridian.

Great lunch, soup and salad both awesome. Love the atmosphere! Service was outstanding as well. Returned again today for a great spinach salad with hot bacon dressing, outstanding salad and salmon made it even better. Forget about this wonderful little spot.

Took my husband here for his birthday dinner. The cocktails were top-notch and fairly priced. My husband ordered the pork chop and really enjoyed it. I ordered the duck breast; not the best I’ve had. The chef likes to cook it medium. I probably should’ve asked for medium-well or something. Seemed a bit raw and chewy to me. I expected better for the price. I also expected the atmosphere to be more upscale for the price. Most people were wearing shorts and t-shirts. It seems to be an average, regular spot for some. I was looking for something a little more special for a birthday dinner. It wasn’t bad, just a little disappointing.

I've been to SO MANY restaurants in Indy and The Meridian is one of the standouts. My wife and I went last evening for an "early" dinner (5:45PM) and I left feeling compelled to share another GREAT dining experience. Let's begin with the atmosphere: Cozy (fire in the fireplace), warm wood, white tablecloths, tables nicely set, friendly greeting by hostess and immediate seating. Next the table service: The waiter was knowledgable and friendly, quick to offer drinks, explain wine specials and menu specials. Dressed neatly in black pants and white shirt. Immediate delivery of our wine request, followed by "any questions about menu?". With none, took our order which was delivered without delay by the restaurant manager, followed up quickly by our waiter to ensure all delivered properly. He would circle back, without interruption, just looking at progress, water level, etc and giving me an opportunity (had one existed) to request his help with any issue. On to the food: Okay, the menu items are extensive and seasonal and EXCEPTIONAL. I've had several over our visits. We began by splitting the beet salad. If you go, I recommend. Plus, when we said we wanted to "split the beet salad", the server agreed and when it was delivered, it was already split. For dinner that evening, I was just feeling like a burger. Yes, it is a $28 burger but, I have to tell you, it is exceptional. My request for medium "doneness" was met to perfection and the accompanying fries were not run-of-the-mill fries. Now, some of you will say, "For $28 it should have been exceptional!" and I won't disagree, but I am always less concerned about the price than the quality and THIS quality made the price worth it. The "char" on the burger, the flavor of the dressing(s), etc....sheer perfection. My wife enjoyed the duck breast which, in her words, was "amazing". (She's had it before with the same accolades..so I know they're consistent with food quality!) We were full, so no dessert this evening. Oh...the dinner rolls were fresh, soft and delicious. One more thing: As we sat there, I noticed a real "team effort" on the floor. The manager would clear plates from tables, remove unnecessary table settings once a party was seated, water service, etc being coordinated by everyone in the place. This means that waiters can focus on their diners/guests without having to be distracted constantly by cleaning up or doing tasks not associated with the dining experience. So...you can tell...I find The Meridian to be one of the most pleasant dining experiences in Indy. Located in a lovely setting in an historic log cabin with appropriate upgrades and additions over the years to make this a "do-not-miss" restaurant.

The service here was impeccable! Sarah our server knew everything on the menu and made fantastic suggestions. The atmosphere was A1. Joe the manager came over a couple of times to make sure everything was satisfactory. Meridian Restaurant is a great place for date night, anniversary or a birthday celebration. Best kept secret in town. We will definitely be returning.

Had a great time at Meridian! Hannah the hostess was super sweet and helpful. Larry our server was on top of things, efficient, and friendly! We loved his stories about the history of the place. The manager greeted us too and was kind! We loved all of our food we ordered and the ambiance is very fancy! Makes you feel special for sure.

The food here is amazing with many options that leave your mouth wanting more. The Chef has put together some wonderful flavors that you just keep thinking about! I was amazed with the lemon ricotta ravioli appetizer. I felt like I was back in Amalfi! Service was good I just wished we had been given more information about the menu and the dishes before making choices. I heard the waitstaff telling other tables, but felt left out on the descriptions and time for questions. Would like a little slower pace as it felt rather rushed. This is important as you are enjoying the food!

I had been waiting to go to this restaurant for so long. It was very busy when we were there, so the service was understandably a bit slow. The best dish we ate was the Butter-Poached Agnolotti with Lemon Ricotta. It was amazing though the pasta edges could have been cooked a bit more. The Vegetarian Wellington was good, but I felt that the tomato sauce overpowered the whole dish. It would also be so much better if vegetarian/vegan options include proteins like paneer or tofu. The Chocolate Souffle was a nice ending to the meal. I would love to come here again if there are a bit more vegetarian options.

This is one of the best restaurants I've ever been to! Possibly the best. The service was so good its hard to find a place anywhere in the USA that will treat you this good. I called 20 minutes before they close and asked if it's OK to come get lunch and they welcomed me with open at. S. The music was perfect, big band music from way back. The food was to die for. You should definitely stop by here. The prices were absolutely amazing I got out for less than $20! Incredible experience highly recommend.

Interesting flavors and combinations; lamb stroganoff very tender; the salmon was perfectly cooked, exactly as described, and the chef reduced the salt as requested and the flavors were really creative with nice crunch and variety.

I really enjoy this restaurant. I love the feel of the house turned restaurant. I love the hard wood and the white table clothes. Food is always great and the food specials and cocktails are always worth trying.

Lamb Shank was the highlight of our dinner The appetizers were not impressive. The fried oysters had too much breading. The spinach sauce was good, but not spicy enough. The beef was a disaster. It was all fat and sinue, so we had to send it back. They brought us the new portion, which was lean, but lacked flavor. The main course- lamb shank was great! Do we forgive them for the appetizer debacle. The desert: chocolate cake and creme brulee were good, so overall a good dinner and nice atmosphere.
