Review Siam Square - Indianapolis

Their Pad Thai flavor is perfection. Interior is beautiful. Service is mediocre. Other than the Pad Thai, I'd recommend the Curry Puff appetizer. The outside is a thick, crunchy shell and inside is a soft and hot potatoes filling with curry seasoning. It's not spicy. I would not recommend the Thai Iced Tea. I personally found it to be more tea tasting than I'd prefer. I like it to be sweet and creamy. Overall, our food was fantastic, but there were a few issues during our meal. Server did not check on us for refills and at one point the lights were accidentally turned off and then came back on a few seconds later. It was all a bit strange.

I really enjoyed the drunken noodles, I got them hot and they were just perfect with the amount of heat (not quite enough to make me tear up). The green curry was very smooth too and flavorful but with medium spice I think hot would have been better. It’s beautiful inside as well. The serving was just big enough that I could finish it and feel full with no leftover.

Food was impecable. I love Thai and this is one of the better places in Indy. Lovely interior and the decor is really cozy. Staff is friendly and pretty prompt with service/food wait times.

Tonight we wanted Thai Food and since we are from out of town - I did some searching and came across this place in the Fountain Square area. The restaurant isn’t fancy but what we were in search of was good food. They don’t have a huge menu but all the regular (normal) items were offered. We started with Fresh Siam Rolls (very tasty and well made) served with a nice sauce to compliment this dish. Our main dishes were the Drunken Noodles (Full of flavor - great taste and a good amount of food). The other dish was Masaman Curry served with a side of rice. We wish it was a little thicker (creamier) since the curry sauce was a little thin but it was packed with great flavor and has a great taste. We also ordered their Thai Iced Tea which was well made. Nice place overall, good food and it looks like they take reservations from what I observed. They do stay busy and seem to do a fair amount of take out also.

Amazing food packed full of flavor and high quality ingredients. It’s quite clear the people who work here take pride in the food they serve. Pad Thai amazing. Friend rice dishes amazing. Crab Rangoons have actual crab piece!!

Siam square is located in fountain Square in Indianapolis. They serve standard Thai dishes including: Thai salad &tea. Basil rice, curry, spring rolls etc. The dining area is narrow. There is room for maybe one large group. They serve dessert as well. Expect to pay about $20-25 per person.

This place is one of our family's favorite restaurants in Fountain Square. My husband loves spicy food and my son and I do not, but they have options for everyone. They are also really fast, so it's a great place if you need to eat and move on to the next thing. Highly recommend, even to folks who aren't sure about Thai food.

The food was absolutely amazing here! It's a very cute little spot with a good vibe. The lady who was working the door was extremely rude, but we will be back despite that. Everything else was excellent!

This was my first experience with Thai food, and let me just say...it was phenomenonal!! I had a spring roll for an appetizer that o shared with my 3 friends. My main course was the drunken noodles with chicken medium spice. It was so delicious and filling! The flavor was so good!! The service was great!! They have a small parking lot on the side of the building plus there is a lot of street parking available. We went on a Tuesday evening, and we all were able to park close. There was no wait to get in or to sit. There was plenty of seating the whole time we were there. I did observe they do a LOT of take out orders. Will definition return!!

The service was GREAT! Everyone was friendly and professional. We also received our food quickly and it was tasty. I was surprised that the “hot” level wasn’t very spicy. The Thai tea is spot on. It was easy to park and we didn’t have to wait for a table. I think the portions were a fair size. The reason for my rating is the prices; I thought the dishes were overpriced. Nevertheless, I think that I would return.

Our first time here was on a Friday night at 7 07/29/2022. There was a five minute wait to be seated, not bad. Our server was great and he gave us excellent recommendations of entrees to try. We ordered the curry puffs (👍) and fried tofu (👎) for our appetizers. For our entrees we ordered the drunken noodles with chicken (Fantastic) and I got the mamasan curry with shrimp and a fried egg on the side (Superb) We were blown away by the tasty bold flavors and perfect spice level. This place is a restaurant you have to visit in Fountain Square! We'll be back for sure. P.S. - Try their delicious ginger tea, thank me later.

Pros: This place is nice they made a good job decorating. The food was good and was reasonable prices ( even though they need to update their google menu bc it shows a cheaper menu) Friendly servers Cons: The hostess didn’t make a good job welcoming us to the restaurant he had no face expression he just looked us and asked for dinning in or pick up ? It was kind rude. There is no alcohol, and the server did not offer water besides the other drinks that we ordered. All the food was good but I feel like the chef overpowered the fish sauce in the beef salad, also the fried spring rolls were perfectly equal size in high and length which is questionable if it was homemade? Or bought frozen already pre made?

Stopped in for lunch the other day, I was in the mood for some glass noodles. It wasn’t on the lunch menu but they had them on special (FYI you pay for that 😬). Huge dish, made to order and it was awesome. Service was great and the next time I’m in the neighborhood I’ll be stopping in. One fun fact, this is the first Thai restaurant I’ve been in that didn’t have any servers from Thailand. It took me a minute to realize what my awkward feeling was when I walked in, obviously it didn’t slow my hunger or impact my decision, just an observation.

Great people who kept their workers safe and did curbside pickups to keep customers healthy. Quality is still the same as before the pandemic. Get the Pad Pong Galee. Trust me. It's delicious and worth the money. Lunch specials come with Tom Yum soup and an egg roll.

Food came out cold... Serving size was very small. Our server was great. I really loved this place, very surprising how bad my past few experiences have been.

My wife and I were visiting Indy on the way to the bourbon trail, and decided to try some local fare. We found Siam Square on visitindy and cross referenced with yelp to find that they are as good if not better than advertised. The food was great, and our server Dusty was as cool, and knowledgeable of the menu as you could want. Offering great suggestions that met our request and taste explanations. It was such a good experience and we felt well taken care of. Great place to try next time back in Indy, and I have now been inspired to find a comparable drunken noodle in Houston.

Once upon a time I loved this place. It seems to have grown in popularity but is lacking in other areas... they have plenty of employees but the food came out warm as opposed to hot. Eh... nothing lasts forever

Hands down the best Thai food ever!!! Siam ginger and tom yum soup are my personal favorites but everything I have had on the menu is amazing!

Fantastic service. Pad Thai beef was exceptional and the Thom Kah Gaiº soup was spectacular. Thank you. I will be back.

Good food, mediocre service. Had reservations and 1/2 our party was sat at one table and 5 minutes later the other 1/2 was sat at a different table. Took us texting each other to figure it out. Then a server dropped dumplings on me with no apology. No consideration given for either incident. The food was good but not very authentic.

The food was excellent and the staff was very attentive and helpful. Loved Siam Square and will be coming back frequently...especially when we can end the night with Roti Rolls.

Great food, great service, a favorite place of mine

Holy Mother of God, this is the best Thai food I've ever had. I will definitely be going back. I took my younger sis, who had never had Thai before in her life and was skeptical, and she loved it! The service was as prompt as was able (lunch was very busy, we had a 10 min wait to be seated, the place was packed), the servers were all very nice as well. Good work Siam Square.

I love Siam Square. The food is delicious and the staff is stellar!

Our service was fantastic. I ordered the Red curry. It was good, but I wish I had ordered the Bangkok Fried Rice. Also the Thai Iced tea and the Rotti that we ate for dessert was awesome.

Excellent crab rangoon, but a bit pricy. Service and authentic cuisine was great over all.
Tony Hamilton
The food is very fresh and tasty and the wait staff are all very nice and friendly.

One of my favorite restaurants with a kind and attentive staff. Masaman curry is to die for.
