Fresh Scratch Bistro And Lounge

Stopped in for a late lunch, early dinner. Glad they are open early as we like to eat around 4. Sat outside. Cool place next to the ocean that sends a cool ocean breeze your way on a hot August. Great atmosphere and service. The food was the show. If you like quality food that has tons of flavors, this is it. Hard to find something like this beach side that’s not 2 dollar beer and fried food. Hats off to the owner and chef. We are excited to come back to this gem. 5 star

My first visit here Saturday night. I was wowed!! Jambalaya was full of seafood, spicy sausage and so many flavors. Seafood Alfredo was decadent and delish. I'll definitely be back. Wait staff was fabulous.

Editing and taking away a star.....had takeout this weekend and it was a joke. My dinner salad was not even the size of a side salad. I order this salad in house often, but definitely got ripped off doing pickup. At $90 for the entrees, I shouldn't have to raid my own kitchen to actually get full. I won't stop going here, but I do not recommend take out. Very good! They have several gluten free options with a wide variety of menu items. The cauliflower steak is amazing (mine was served without the pesto, and sooo flavorful)! We've had many items from sandwiches to the steak and all were wonderful. Patio is large with it's own bar.

Tonight I had the best meal of my life here! I’m not big on seafood so I had the wild mushroom ravioli. The candied walnuts and raspberry drizzle really turned this into an unbelievably flavor-packed meal. My partner, who LOVES seafood, had the Not New Orleans Jambalaya and loved it. I even enjoyed a bite of the amazing mussels! Our daughter ate off the kid’s menu but still said it was the best French fries she’s ever had. Delicious entrees with multiple drinks and dessert and still only cost about $100. We will be returning here every single time we vacation in Melbourne to try something new. I cannot say enough positive things. Alex, our server, was very friendly and attentive. He even checked to make sure our daughter liked the chocolate lava cake. A real gem in Melbourne for sure.

This is a charming little restaurant located on A1A. We dropped in after 1 PM for someone late lunch. I had the French dip which was absolutely spectacular. The roll was so fresh. They might have baked it just before we got there. And the beef was very flavourful and tender. As a side dish, I went with the chips now. Do not let the menu fool you. These are not out of the bad potato chips. These are out of the deep fryer freshly cooked chips. Krispy and well salted. The older person with us thought it was too much salt but I liked it. I forget their actual name for it. But the one dish that was disappointing was a bowl that consisted of fried rice, mango and pineapple. While they say it is made fresh to order. It looked and felt like it was a pre-made mix of ingredients that was just reheated. This will not be ordered again but other things on their menu will The one disappointment was that they have an awesome sounding bananas. Foster's French toast on the menu and the menu says it is served until 2 PM. We were tried to order that, but we're told. It is only available on Sundays during brunch, which is not something that was noted on the menu. While this restaurant has a very nice indoor section. There is also an outdoor covered patio with almost as many tables as inside. The patio does have roll down plastic sides in case the weather is bad. It is a very nice little venue and we are actually returning there to celebrate our Thanksgiving meal with them on Thursday this year. We would look forward to a High quality meal along with a very nice level of service.
