Amazing food, vegetables were amazing. We tried 2 different types of fishes which were amazing. Onion crusted definitely worth having. Our server Alline was top notch, such a lovely person. Gave us great recommendations 👌

I can’t say enough good things about this place. Lori the co-owner (it’s her and her hubby) is a delight. The staff is accommodating, friendly, and patient…… Miles is as attentive and welcoming as anyone could be. Food is fresh and original….delicious ….and everyone is happy….it’s a breath of fresh air in a somewhat stagnant beachside restaurant landscape.

I recently dined at Islands fish grill and had an exceptional experience. The food was absolutely delicious, with each dish bursting with flavor. The ingredients were fresh, and the presentation was impeccable. Great people with great personality.

Very satisfied yet again, took my wife to Islands Fish Grill for our honeymoon. Food came out in great time (post ordering), came out looking amazing as usual. Even loved the Wine recommendation, that complimented me and my wife’s meal excellent. Major love for this place, is they treat you like family, and they always look out for you. Since i have a shellfish allergy they make sure no cross contamination happens with my meal and i can return home happy and full, from a delicious meal.

My wife and I have dined here several times, all of which have been great experiences. The staff are professional and friendly, the atmosphere is cozy and quaint. Walls are decorated with cool funky art from local artists. And the food prepared here has been phenomenal to say the least. Speaking of food - my first visit here, they had pompano as the fresh catch of the day. It was simply grilled and served with vegetables and potatoes. Absolute fabulous and without a doubt the best fish I have had in a long time. Last night, I had their crab cakes with chef grits, grilled vegetables and slices of fresh cherry tomatoes and mozzarella. Again, a fantastic meal including my wife's onion crusted grouper which was sublime. All in all, if you're looking for a local spot to dine at where it is unpretentious and honest - you need to come to Island Fish Grill and enjoy the moment.

This is our favorite restaurant in the Melbourne area and never disappoints. Tonight, we had the crab cake appetizers, and they were the best I've ever had. The fish chowder was outstanding, and the onion crusted red snapper was cooked perfectly and exceptionally delicious. The service was, as always, terrific. I don't know where you could go that is any better.

This is one of my favorite spots! The food is always fresh and delicious! My go to is the crab cakes and their infamous onion crusted fresh catch! I could eat that every day! My husband doesn’t eat seafood and typically eats the steak but says the onion crusted chicken is delicious as well! If you want fresh delicious ingredients every time without fail and friendly staff this is the spot!

Consistently delicious food and excellent service. Very fresh fish that can be prepared in a variety of ways. The onion crusted preparation with the grits and spinach are personal favorites of mine. My favorite restaurant in the area for fresh fish.

This is a small restaurant with a fixed number of meal portions per evening. One of the few restaurants in the Melbourne area to get fresh fish. Use Open Table to book your reservation in advance to secure a table. If you try to get a table on a Saturday evening, you may be turned away or offered to wait for a seat at the bar. Everything is prepared that day or evening, no (few) substitutions. The selections are delicious. Even if you normally do not like an item, try it! You may be pleasantly surprised!! The hostess (owner?) is friendly and delightful. The servers aim to please. They do not have a liquor license, so your beverage selection is beer or wine, but they have a broad selection of both. The front dining area has interesting artwork with a nautical theme. The rear dining room ("wine cellar") has a few whimsical decorations and wine racks along the front and rear walls. Being small, expect a noisy din when the restaurant is full. For a quieter experience, I suggest a week night, when it is not as busy.

One of those places you go where the only topic of conversation is how good the food is. Things I thought I didn’t like I did here. You literally can’t get anything bad. Best scallops I’ve ever had- hands down. Grits blew the doors off all other grits and all the seafood was cooked perfectly. I don’t even know how you make mousse taste that good and there’s some sort of magic going on with the key lime pie that is a top secret. When we heard the dessert list the table had to split one of everything just to try it all because dinner was so good. The service was fast and amazing but no rush and a great vibe.
