Atlantic Blue Beach Bar

Lou's is a very...um....interesting place. We visited on karaoke night and the place was packed with local retirees out for a good time. It was a hoot even though 90% of the songs were 50's and 60's ballads. Food was decent - typical bar food, but that's what the place is. Good beer selection and some of the goofiest decorations you'll see anywhere.

Such a vibe! We popped in at the recommendation of a friend and we were so glad we did! There was a live band playing a ton of 90s and 2000s alt rock and other music, not to mention some really great line dances and merengue between sets. The crowd was electric and dancing like no one was looking which was refreshing. The drinks were fantastic and reasonably priced. I stuck with the margarita and the hubby, whiskey and corona along with ice water. Refreshing and delicious combo. Special mention…. A duh moment… I left my phone in the ladies room stall and was able to retrieve it at the bar’s lost and found! What a great group of people. We loved this place! Take a visit any day of the week but Saturday was amazingly lit!

This place is somewhere in between music bar to beach view restaurant. It’s not my usual vibe but I’ve been told I had to try them out… So I did! The back side and second level of this establishment is an outdoor, self seating, little beach front dining area with uncomfortable seats and high tables. But the fresh salty air, shielded from the sun with a beautiful view of the ocean makes it worth it. The service is casual, as is the entire experience. The seafood was super fresh and yummy! Well seasoned and good portions. I ordered the dozen raw oysters and enjoyed every last one immensely. All the right sauces we brought without request. The peel and eat shrimp, both cold and hot, where very plump and juicy. Also fantastic. I can see why they are popular. I also ordered calamari and still am not sure if they brought the right order… they looked like clam strips and were quite bland. They clearly are a busy establishment with locals and vacationers alike. Service was nothing to complain nor praise. Again, this is a casual beach spot but the staff seemed very busy. I definitely will bring company again when they are in town just for the view alone!

This is just a cool looking place. My server KAT was an awesome waitress. Came right over. She was very sweet and paid attention to use the entire time we were there. They have live music there. I love the fact that you can sit inside and listen to the band OR you can sit on the balcony and not hear them. I had the calamari. It was great. Tasted really freah and didn't come to the restaurant frozen. My GF and buddy had the pizza. The atmosphere. I'd give it a 10. The calamari 8.5 The pizza. 7.3 the mixed drinks a 9. The oysters were a 6.9 I'm from Miami so I go to an oyster bar that's dedicated just to that.

Judging by the bars and stages, I'm sure this is more of a nightlife kind of place, but my family and I went here for lunch. We sat upstairs and had good service. There was oddly no metal silverware available. I had hot wings which were cooked perfectly, but they failed to sauce them properly, instead just splashing a small amount of buffalo sauce on them. The sweet tea here was terrific, and my wife liked her Big Mama salad. The kids had a burger and chicken fingers and they liked their food. The decor was interesting with heavy metal stuff, a pile of bras, and some biker theme stuff. Located right on the beach, this is probably a fun club to come to in the summer.
