We stopped at the Pizza Ranch in Independence IA, at the end of the lunch buffet. Lost track of time shopping. The manager was very accommodating to us and made another pizza for us to enjoy the buffet. We noticed he was so helpful to ALL the other guests in the restaurant at the time. Excellent service all the way around! Phenomenal pizza and chicken!!!

The quality of the food was better this visit than in times past, fresher hotter etc. Although the place was clean it could have been cleaner. I hold all Pizza Ranches to the Vinton Pizza Ranch standard. No place is perfect, but a consistent level of cleanliness and quality food will make a restaurant top notch in my book.

This place is ok I guess. I don't come here often. Foods good. Mashed potatoes are choice. They never seem to have chicken legs though. Pizza selection wasn't too plentiful. Cheesy bread stix were good. And it filled up quick. It was near empty when we got there and when we left......well.

The buffet was over wheeled for bout 10 mins but then food was fresh and delicious. Workers are spot on for cleaning plates off tables and keeping it neat and clean.

I didn't have the chicken buffet so I can't comment about that, but the pizza buffet was great! Plenty of folks were eating chicken though so it must have been pretty good as well.
