This is a great diner in Independence! I had a craving for breakfast food, and I met some friends here for Sunday brunch. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent! If you're looking for great breakfast and small town vibes, definitely come check this place out!

I ❤ L.A. Pete's! Staff are friendly and service is awesome. They have a very extensive breakfast menu. I ordered the veggie benedict, and I was very pleased. Prices are super reasonable too.

Very delicious food. Kind and speedy service. Affordable prices. Clean and covid friendly. The waffles and pancakes were good, although we were hoping for some glaze or sauce to accompany the pecan and cinnamon apple selections. Instead, they were regular with pecans sprinkled on top and apples slices on top, respectively. Overall, it was a good experience.

We were looking for somewhere local to eat. I went to Google and found this restaurant less than a mile from the hotel with a 4.3 score with over 500 reviews. Great food and service. Clean restaurant and bathrooms.

The owner, the staff, and most importantly the FOOD - are excellent. The prices are excellent and the quality never wavers. Portion sizes are fantastic. This place is an absolute gem and I will always recommend breakfast and lunch here!

Food was delicious. Coffee was not their best, and where we sat was not a priority. My friends first time. She enjoyed it.

A great place for breakfast as long as you get there early, especially on the weekend, otherwise you may have to wait a bit. The interior feels dated and oddly laid out with two levels running parallel the entire length of the joint. The service is quick and straightforward, food was out in no time. The prices are very reasonable, lower than most breakfast joints in the area with most dishes well below ten bucks and big-enough portions.
