El Maguey

El Maguey has always been a staple for years and each one has its own unique family with incredible dishes. This one is no exception especially with the Tacos Especial I had, which were just what I needed. The drinks and Margaritas they make are pretty on point whichever way you like it. Definitely need to come back and try some more dishes and drinks

I ordered a taco dinner that came close to what I know as Street Tacos. The tacos were called CALLEJERO TACOS. You recieve 4 tacos with what types of meat you want, and I ordered all four to be made with Carne Asada. They also come with pico de gallo and green salsa and beans and rice. This was an excellent meal in itself, the meat was tender and everything was very delicious.I did not leave hungry. Well worth the price .

Was hungry after a long day working the Royals game and wanted to try something new. My friend and I went in and was seated and I went to the restroom. When I came back from the restroom nobody had been to the table yet so we stopped the hostess and asked about our server and after 4-5 minutes still nobody came so we got up and left. The menu looked amazing and was looking forward to a good meal.

I waited to be seated in a less than third full restaurant at 2pm on a Saturday, only to sit through a basket of chips and salsa with a drink, watching people that walked in after me getting their meals when I hadn't been given service to order my own meal. I paid for chip and salsa, and walked out to the food truck in the same parking lot There are TONS of places serving great food with far superior service. This place has hit the skids. I will never recommend this location, this name, or anything to do with this place. It's pretty skanky inside to boot.
