First timer and I loved it. Husband's been there a few times on lunch break if he's out in that area working, they wanted me to give it a try. This is during our feast.

Hometown favorite that never disappoints. Their version of chili is an old family recipe that is unique and may seem like a plate of spiced meat but it is so much more and the variety of dishes on the menu makes it a perfect choice. I especially enjoyed the all you care to eat Tacos. I made a new personal record of 18. They were fantastic. The staff is friendly and is always available to serve you. One of my top 10 favorites unique to the Kansas City area.

You can't criticize it, it's delicious and been open 101 years. They're doing it right. Traditional kc style chili, chili dogs and all you can eat hard tacos yum.

The environment is excellent, feels like g-mas kitchen. The staff is absolutely amazing!! I would like to recognize the lovely lady at the front. Anita, I believe. So, welcoming and pleasant to talk to. The food is magnificent. We'll definitely be back.

A historic delight. Super simple and hearty! Chili, Chili w/ mac, tamales or tacos are all just like you're sitting at their kitchen table!

Dixon's is another Kansas City staple and is a MUST STOP destination if you're wanting to hit a variety of all the fun local dining spots in KC. Obviously the chili is tasty, but also the cheeseburgers and "all you can tacos" are very good as well. Thanks for the great meal and for the friendly service!
