Whiskey Taco

Amazing food, a great atmosphere, and cool decor. Wide variety, I couldnt decide! I settled on trying 3 different tacos (Korean, chicken crema, and al pastor) and they were all delicious. Their beans and rice alone are fabulous, but the tacos, oh the tacos 🥲 are so good. I will definitely recommend and eat there again! I wanted to take a nice photo of my food, but it looked and smelled so good I had to dig in right away!

This place wouldn’t last 30 days in ANY midsize city. I guess if you put enough sour cream and oil on mystery meat you can call it Americano Taco meat. I included pictures of their third attempt. The bartender, who was fantastic, assured me that the food is never this greasy. (Lol) He allegedly made my tacos and assured me that he used a slotted spoon with holes in it unlike the cooks who were using a big ladle. Taco Bell would beat this place everyday of the week for 1/3rd the price. I can eat Taco Bell while driving down the road. I can’t eat this at a table with a huge pile of napkins without looking like I’m trying to make a mess. Surprisingly, the dining room was full on a rainy Monday night.

This has become our regular dinner joint when we're passing through area. Food is always great and serving sizes are respectable. We typically sit at the bar, and service is good. On our last visit the bar needed to be wiped down better. A lot of the area was sticky. We noted the flaw in that the bartender moves the dirty dishes to one area for the busser to grab the dishes; unfortunately, this results in the busser not wiping down the area the dishes came from. Highly recommend the guacamole.

I had “Tacos al pastor” and I felt like I was eating street tacos in Mexico so… 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Amazing! The rice and beans are no good and the lettuce was old it didn’t look fresh AND the waiter was RUDE. I asked if they had the most basic Mexican drink “Horchata” and he answered in a mad way “NO WE DONT HAVE THAT IN HERE ONLY PEPSI” the whole time he was very rude. The only time someone was nice to us was when we paid, not even when we got seated they were nice. We are from out of town and they didn’t make us feel welcome. Oh well, we won’t be going back there.
