This place is good. Pasta is the bomb here. The chef is hard working but also well accommodating. This place has nice atmosphere for a quick bite. I recommend you to start with a pasta and end with a salad. And if you ever in the store waiting for a your order it's great to eat a single slice while you wait.
Tend to order delivery from here but went by in person to get some food and to give some love to the cooks for how they always ace the orders. The wings have never failed me and the speed is always consistent from placing the order to it showing up.
It’s a neighborhood store. Staff is so polite and helpful. We had a pizza party for our store and even though it was a holiday and their store was closed, they opened their store to make pizza for our store team. Pizza was delicious and I’m grateful for their help :)
Delicious chicken parm hero at a reasonable price
Travel from Staten Island 3-4 times a year visiting family. Always stop here for a veal and peppers hero and other items.. ALWAYS AMAZING!!! This place gives any Staten Isl/Bklyn pizzeria a run for their money!! 9.5 outta 10!
I have been ordering or picking up food from here since they opened a couple months ago. So far, everything that I've ordered from them is always fresh and tastes great. They always have a huge variety of pizzas to choose from which is great and if you're getting food from the kitchen I recommend their salads, especially the Villatoro salad, and the Hot Antipasto which includes the only Eggplant Rollatini that I've ever liked. & they're always friendly and accommodating. This is me + my coworkers' new favorite pizza place. Thank you Saul, Jose, and staff!
I love this place. The pizza you can tell is made with care and not with cheap ingredients. It has the perfect amount of both cheese and sauce. Their regular meals are delicious as well. Eggplant is made perfectly and the chicken parm is possibly one of the better chicken parm hero’s I ever had. The fettuccine Alfredo which is a meal that is difficult to make they made amazing as well. The staff/owners are really nice and welcoming and the prices for everything are very reasonable. To be honest I’ve been to places that charge almost double and don’t taste as good. I would say with no doubt this is the best pizza place on the island I strongly recommend and this is coming from someone who is fairly picky about their pizza.
Awesome specialty slices and the biggest pepperoni wheel your face ever tried to eat. Good good pizza, highly recommended.
Ok first off I'm from Southern California. Don't get me wrong there are a lot of good things about So Cal but pie ain't one of them. You mention pie out there and they will immediately start thinking apple cherry rhubarb or some other fruit or cream filling. You can't hold it against them they just ain't knowing. I mean they call it pizza. I for one truly believe that the New York terminology and references to pizza pie is what gives it that distinct New York flavor and appeal found nowhere else on the planet but New York City. That being said it is a rule of mine that whenever I come to the Big Apple a slice or two from a local shop is mandatory along with a few this and that's. I have found that every shop I have ever been to all have a few offerings that they are well known for besides their pies and slices. Today I was very fortunate to find King Gino's Pizza and Pasta out on Long Island and completely by a stroke of luck. Only because the parking lot was big enough to accommodate my semi truck did I hit the jackpot. I had dozed off once I parked and after I woke up i was starving. I remembered that the shop was a mere 50 yards away and scrambled over hoping that I wasn't too late. As I approached the door i noticed that the chairs were on the tables and a gentleman was mopping up the floor. My heart sank as i realized that I was in fact too late. They were cleaning up and getting ready to lock up for the night. I must have mumbled something out loud to the effect of how hungry I was because it caught the attention of the guy mopping and he called out and two more guys came out from the back. We exchanged greetings and i told them about my rule and how disappointed I was that I dozed off and missed the opportunity to sample their pies. What happened next totally took me by surprise. They ushered me in and showed me what was remaining which really wasn't much but at that moment it was a feast to my eyes and even though I tried to tell them that it was ok they wouldn't hear it. My luck was holding up because the oven was still going and they made me feel like the first customer of the day not the knucklehead that showed up 2 minutes before closing. They even made up a baked ziti for me which is one of my favs. I was so grateful for the hospitality and as I mentioned earlier I was starving so i ordered up. I got the ziti 2 custom slices and a calzone / turnover looking thing that was stuffed with cheese and sausage. I walked back to my truck with a pizza box and an overstuffed bag full of food. I ate so much I hurt but the food was so delicious i didn't care and popped another garlic knot in my mouth. These guys absolutely made my night and I couldn't thank them for not only all the food buy for welcoming me at that late hour. King Gino's 2 thumbs up and blasts on the air horn they definitely have my seal of approval. That's it from me and I'll see you on the interstate
Good food, good price, but they need to go back to their original recipe for garlic knots. Very nice people
