A&S has the most amazing Italian Hero I have ever had.
When I moved to Huntington Station, I needed to find a nice sandwich shop. Tried a few delis but then came across A&S. This is now my favorite take out joint. The sandwiches are phenomenal and so fresh tasting. Their roasted turkey and Swiss is a great example. Homemade. Real turkey, not turkey roll. Not salty but flavorful. With a nice dollop of mayo. Every order has been delicious. And when you go in there you see all this food! Different salads. Lasagna. Meatballs. Eggplant parm, mmm. Stromboli, yum. Even the broccoli will have you wanting a taste. There’s so many options. Even for vegetarians there is wonderful options. And they will make pretty much anything you want. And they also will have you set for a big family dinner. Fresh meats, bread(which goes fast), sauces…! Great service and everyone works their butt off. So glad I discovered this place.
Delicious sauce on my eggplant parm sandwich. My husband said his Italian hero was delicious. I will be returning.
Went to A&S based on a recommendation from a colleague and glad that I gave it shot. They have plenty of fresh prepared food including pasta, meats, cheese, and other Italian grocery items.
I was told they also have amazing sandwiches. I ordered the #1 A&S special and it was probably one of the best Italian sandwiches I ever had. It came with fresh mozzarella and roasted peppers on a fresh roll with a drizzle of balsamic, which sent it to a whole other level!
I will def go back and try something else on their menu, next time I'm in Huntington area.

This is a great place to pick up a sandwich or other prepared food as well as some great butcher meat 🍖. It's not a place I could afford every day but excellent quality with great service.
Got a holiday package for my family and it was perfect. The Prime Rib was delish, Lasagna on point, and the crew even on xmas eve were on their game!
Great food. The service was a little off I had went to go into the refrigerator to get some ravioli but a employee or owner had cut in front of me to service a customer. Wich I get ok. But to stand in front of the door for 5 minutes and to have a conversation with them while blocking the door was off putting.
I stop here every time I’m in town. I always get the A and S sandwich with marinated mushrooms. You can’t go wrong. Best roasted peppers, marinated mushrooms, eggplant parm, chicken cutlets and the avocado salad is great. Everyone is always really nice.
Really great place. I come here for catering when I have my family over we usually have at least 17 people. We have tried half a foot of their American and Italian Hero. Also on my last order we got chicken parmesan and penne alla vodka and it was very good as well. We get there normally sandwiches on a fairly regular basis and they're all good as well. Recently got their chicken noodle soup also and that was great for a when you need a good soup and you're not feeling well. Highly recommended!
