These guys are making excellent pizza. From the traditional slice to the grandma slice and all sorts of others. The addition of sesame to the crust is a really nice surprisingly good twist
One the best pizza on Long Island. They're speciality is the sweet sauce they use for their pie.
I highly recommend the sweet pie.
Plus they also have this garlic knot crust pie which is great too!!
You can't go wrong and won't be disappointed.
One negative is that during the summer its really hot inside the restaurant, but they have a nice outside seating area.
This pizzera has been the staple pizza for my family since before I was born! My mother would eat this pizza when she was pregnant with me (1993) and when I tell you no pizza comes close then that means NO PIZZA COMES CLOSE!!! My sisters are crazy for this pizza too, when one of them comes around from PA she knows the first place she needs to stop by is Guiseppe’s Pizza. In fact, I’m current doing a 40 day fast and I know just what I’m going to eat to break my fast. You guessed it, GUISEPPE’S PIZZA!! This place better not go anywhere because let me tell you it’s not only the food that’s great but the whole experience makes you feel like you just left a family reunion. Guiseppe’s when are you going to start making some commercials? The people have to know!! Ask for the original sauce, (the sweet sauce) and get hooked like my family and I.
Unfortunate that they went out of business but as someone living in the area, I could’ve seen this coming. It was a kind of a hot mess in there. Always chaos even when the owner was around. He could not find good help. The teenage girls that worked there just didn’t care what was happening. I would show up 30 minutes after ordering $50 of food and it was never even started. When I worked for Grubhub it was even worse. Would arrive on time and they would say “oh we didn’t see the order! That will be a few more minutes. Only for it to be about 25 minutes. That will always be the decline of a business, customer service is key.
Best Authentic Pizza in Long Island (You definitely gotta try there sweet sauce pizza slice)
was raised on this place’s food since birth, & my daughter loves it & she’s 6. Kinda heartbroken from going months without it. & Now Huntington pizza is just trash without it. Sigh.
Drove past the other day, realizing it was actually closed for good.. grew up on it 🥺
Anytime I'd be back in town n was in the mood for pizza, this was the spot.
Sesame crust was great, n their sweet sauce 🤌🏻😋.. crazy, not a lot of pizzeria do sweet sauce
The sweet sauce slice is SO good! The outside seating is beautiful. They have beautiful plants that are very well taken care; nice tables and lighting. It’s great place for a date! The owner is very nice and provides excellent customer service.
This Pizza Place has done more for our country than the founding fathers ever have. Lovely pizza, lovely staff and lovely service. Long Island doesn't deserve Giuseppe's Pizza and Pasta Restaurant. 5 stars. If I could, I'd give it six. Maybe not though - my wife did leave me for a man she met here. (Not a member of staff, just an extremely well-dressed man named James with a pocket square).
This was by far the best pizza on long island and in New York that I have ever been to in my life. It's very upsetting that they're closed, I hope they open back up.
