The big sushi rolls here are pretty tasty and have very strong flavor. Very satisfying and worth the money for sure!

This place is for those people who love sushi, but want a burrito portion size! I'll admit, it's near impossible to get a fully composed bite, but that's part of the experience. Prices range from $8-$12 per item, but portion sizes and quality definitely make up for it.

Honestly couldnt have asked for a better restaurant in my life. Quick and friendly service, delicious and unique food, and it's decorative interior leaves the room feeling relaxed and welcome. I try to come here at least once a week with a group of friends that haven't tried the god sent gift that is a Sushi Burrito. I mean... Ramen Tacos! I can't wait to eat everything on the menu.

Not for the faint hearted. We got the Geisha and mini nachos. Mini was too much food for 2 people, can't even imagine what the regular size looks like. Everything was delicious, doused in special sauces and fresh ingredients.

I definitely ordered with my eyes on my last visit. I had dessert before coming here so maybe that was why I wasn't able to finish everything. What I Ordered: - Geishia Burrito - Samurai Super Nachos The Geishia Burrito was good but not great. I think there was too much imitation crab. The Samurai Super Nachos were super good and huge!!!! If it wasn't so far away, I would visit this place on the regular. Everything tasted very fresh!

Went to Samurai Burrito Food Truck for the first time today, and I can tell you it won't be the last. Rebeca made great recommendations and offered alternatives (I don't like seaweed, so I ordered my burrito with shogun sesame soy paper). I ended up with the Daruma on Fire burrito & it was delicious! It had a nice kick to it with the spicy tuna & jalapeños, and a nice crunch with the shrimp tempura. Great service & great food. I will definitely recommend Samurai Burrito to friends, and also hope to book them for an event at the college I work at.

I have to thank fellow reviewers about this place. The idea of combining a delicious sushi but in a burrito form is definitely interesting. I generally come to Samurai Burrito during my lunch hour, when it's less crowded which makes the wait reasonable. The restaurant is quite small but very clean. The front posts their specials but also has a dessert counter filled with delightful sweets such as pastries and cakes. I have tried a variety of the rolls for example, "Daruma on Fire, Ichiban Roll, Geisha Madness, Ninja Roll etc. There are 6 soy papers to choose from, but I generally go with the "Togarashi" because I prefer a spicy. Samurai provides a very convenient way to enjoy sushi on the go! They also provide free iced cold water while you wait for your food. Service is kind of hit or miss. Meaning at times, there are not enough people behind the counter prepping the food. I kind of feel bad for the person wrapping all the food. The employees are cheerful and smiling though and provide their suggestions on what to choose if you are undecided. Even though the place is a little small, seating is usually not an issue probably because of the time of day I go. There are tables and booths available to enjoy your meal. Unfortunately there are no bathrooms for customers. The staff recommends you to go next door to the Ramen House. At they have a relationship with their neighbors for the customers. Good vibe, great food choices = happy customer!

Sushi burritos? What an amazing concept! I have not tried Sushirrito in SF, but I would imagine that it is probably better based on pictures. However, don't knock Samurai Burrito for that reason! As its own little shop, it also has a lot to offer. Let's face it, we don't really have anything that comes close besides maybe food trucks like Jogasaki (and if there is, PLEASE message me the place!!) and I just don't always have the time and energy to hunt those suckers down. At my first visit, I tried the Geisha Roll and their new Daruma on Fire Roll. The Geisha Roll was good because it did not have any rice and stuffed with salmon. What's not to love about that? The Daruma on Fire was stuffed with a lot of other crazier things like shrimp tempura and such. A little too much going on for me for $12, but I'm just a simple gal when it comes to sushi. Another great thing about Samurai Burrito is that if you don't like ANY of their options on the menu, you can just make up your own little creation. I did not get the chance to try their infamous nachos, but I will definitely come back to cross that off my list!

Best premise for a food place ever. Imagine a sushi roll, the size of a burrito, and you can custom buikd your roll! Better than sushi, slightly pricey but totally worth it, i really really love this place.
