Haven’t been here in awhile and wow! New ownership is fantastic! Making huge improvements and bringing in higher quality. They are very friendly and helpful. Stoked to see another new chapter in this Huntington Beach staple. Been eating here for 30+ years and this place just got way better.
My husband's introduced me to this place when I first started dating him in 1990. The place had been through some changes. I haven't been in a very long time and love how they've updated it. It's brighter, clean and the sandwiches are still amazing! They offer some Italian dishes In a refrigerated section to take and make at home. They also have a collection of wines where the proceeds go directly to veteran's charities. Looking forward to another visit soon!
I had a couple of coupons to use & wanted to go check the place out. What a spread! This menu offers such a huge variety of unique tastes with fun names. You can personalize your sandwiches. Take home prepared, handmade meals to your family, to cook in your oven. Owned & operated by a father & son team who have friendly & greeting personalities. We'll definitely be back. I wish I would have done this there so I could remember the name of the sandwich BUT my sandwich was roast beef, cream cheese, pimento & lettuce. AMAZING combination. It also smelled amazing & was so clean! If you're an HB local or in the area go check this place out, for sure! Next time I'm going to try a hot sandwich! Oh and the macaroni salad was great too & the prices are super reasonable as well.

Friendly, clean sandwich shop in north Huntington. I did enjoy my sandwich (Red Skelton, which is ham, turkey, cheddar cheese, and lettuce on a french roll). However, I was disappointed in the bread. Supposedly they get fresh french rolls delivered each day, but my bread was quite stale. To me, the bread makes the sandwich. Maybe they need to cover it better to preserve the freshness. Maybe I was just unlucky.
In any case, I'd try it again. I got a good vibe here.
Their new pastrami sandwhich is absolutely delicious!! Definitely unlike others I have had. This one is bomb!!!!

This place was good before, but under new ownership it’s much better! We love the new owners, and Jennifer is absolutely the best! They have left the good old sandwich menu, but upped the quality of the ingredients. Also we appreciate the excellent quality Italian products they make themselves. Not an overwhelming selection, but very good. The award winning wines are also from their own winery, and all profits from wine sales are donated to veterans charities! It’s the oldest deli in HB, and we absolutely love how DeFalco family operates it. Thank you!
The BEST fresh deli sandwiches this side of the Mississippi! They have a great assortment of different deli meats and sandwich options - paired with the wide variety of fresh produce, the custom made options are endless. The cherry on top is their homemade breads (highly recommend the house roll). If you’re in the Huntington Beach area, it’s a must try!!!
