I've been a fan of Fatburger since the 80's and stop in when I can. Today I spotted a new to me Fatburger and the craving was NOW. Instead of ordering my usual Fatburger (no relish please) I was swayed by the "Mike's Hot Honey Crispy Chicken Sandwich". I should have stuck with the Fatburger. The chicken sandwich was not visually enticing like the photo. The bacon was under cooked and the seasoning was neither spicy hot or sweet. The chicken breast was good but overall it turned out to be very bland. Lacking the amazing taste sensation the marketing material promised. Glad I tried it, disappointed it wasn't what I expected. I'll stick to the burgers Fatburger does so well in the future.
The burger, shake and sweet potato fries are cooked to perfection. The burger itself is made to order and was juicy. It was so good that I had to come back the next day. The gentleman who took my order was cool. They also have a XL burger challenge of some sort that allows you to be on their wall.
We were the only people there. The price is high for the meal: burger, fries, and a drink for over $14. The taste is good, however the flat fries 🍟 is a bit saggy.
