Been trying to find a decent fried chicken place, other than the popular packed ones. And I decided to follow up on this location from from a coworker recommended. So bad stuff out the way, this is eat anywhere but here location, no restroom, one or 2 small benches right outside in a shared parking lot. Ok now on to food, yeah, crunchy, ✔️,tasty ✔️, other options other than who chickens like tenders and chick burger ✔️. I'll recommend get the bone in one because the flavor comes alive more for some reason. Please not, this seems to be Hawaiian inspired, so there's a sweetness with some of the food that seems like teriyaki on the sides. Getting back to the chicken, yes, it's tasty and satisfying, a great hole in the wall to go place
Been coming here for a several years now. Service is always great with a smile, friendliness and promptness! Promptness! The CPC chicken is great! They're spicy. Poke is good too! For some reason this time the kalbi ribs were extremely tough and chewy. Yeah, a little disappointed.
No matter how long/ tough my day is, I drive 40 minutes out of my way to get some comfort food from this amazing spot and everything is better again. The service is amazing and you are guaranteed to meet some great people waiting in line or waiting for your food that is always made fresh and with Island love. Can not recommend this place more, just don’t blow it up after you discover this amazing place.
The fried chicken is delicious! Nice and crunchy and juicy. The Mac salad was okay, not really seasoned in my opinion, & I’m not a fan of potatoes in it. My husband on the other hand liked it. I would skip the regular spam musubi too (nothing special, it’s just basic.) Customer service was nice , food order came out pretty quick. No public restrooms. I would definitely come back for the Korean fried chicken really any of the CPC’s though. (Highly recommend,) I’m from San Diego so I would hit this spot up whenever I come to Huntington Beach.
This place while small packs a powerful punch when it comes to great food! The staff here are very friendly and do everything possible to make you happy and content with your food selection. This place is great to satisfy your cravings and worth a visit.
Good spot for Hawaiian eats. The fried chicken is the draw here and it’s good. Prices are reasonable. It’s next to the Target and doesn’t face the street so it can be a little hard to find.
This place is strictly a take out shop. However, there are a couple of tables outside where you can eat.
Great value! Food portions are LARGE. When they say plate lunch, they mean it. Two large scoops of rice, a scoop of mac salad, and your meat. The chili pepper chicken (CPC) is great fried chicken, super crisp with a sweetness in the sauce. Much like Bonchon Chicken (the Korean chain).
The chicken here is to DIE. FOR.
I’ve had my share of Korean-style fried chicken, but Da Hawaiian fried chicken is equally as good to me because of the taste and texture.
I also like the coleslaw here… it tastes similarly to the cabbage salad at Korean fried chicken places, but this one tastes more refreshing.
Can’t wait to come back and cater this place for an event :’-)

As other reviewers have mentioned prior...the CPC DOES NOT disappoint!!! The spicy flavor is just as good as the cpc flavor. The potato Mac salad is good. I've attached just the beginning and after of when I started to eat. Kind of curious of the other items on the menu. Will definitely come back after I recover from my food coma.
Their chicken we're very special. Crunchy outside, juicy inside. I like it. Kind of food togo ,but there are 2 tables if you want to eat there
