This was the backup plan for my hubby’s birthday dinner. Small place and there were 6 of us needing a table inside since it was cold! We were able to push 3 tables together and it worked fine.

Great food, by far best brisket I've found in California. The tri-tip was one of the best I've eaten in OC. I can't honestly say it was the best tri-tip ever, but it's the best I've had outside of Santa Barbara county. It won't disappoint if you grew up in tri-tip land.

Went here all the time when it was owned by the BT people.
The inside looks very similar, but seems cleaner and the floors are nicer.

The big guy behind the bar is not that friendly, but I guess he's friendly enough. And that is a foreshadowing of the food - not that tasty, but I guess it's tasty enough. The meats are rather dry, but I guess you're supposed to drown them in one of the 5 BBQ sauces on the table. The wings are nice

This is some of the best barbecue I've ever had. Usually brisket ends up being dry, but not at this place. The pork ribs were excellent, as was the slaw; next time we need to try the greens. The service was very friendly and professional.
