Spring has sprung at your local Boudin where they are serving fresh and delicious seasonal salads for a limited time. I recently went to Boudin with my two children to see how the salads stack against other salads in the area and the flavors of the salads far exceeded my expectations. Boudin has always been my go-to place for soup or sandwiches, and this was my first time trying one of their salads. We placed our order at the cash registers in the front of the restaurant, filled our cups with sweet iced tea, and then took a seat in a comfortable booth to await our lunch.
My favorite soup in sourdough bread bowl place, Boudin, is embracing the change in season with a hearty Fall menu that is sure to please any palate. The menu celebrates new cravings with three additions that are sure to warm you up and get you into the holiday spirit. Behind the scenes, focusing on research and development, menu/recipe creation is chef Alan Skversky from Philadelphia, PA. His three new concepts focus on the change of weather with roasted vegetables and the abundance of seasonal ingredients.
Fall is officially here, and Boudin Bakery has some delicious new menu items to please your palate. I recently tried all of the items at a media tasting and I think you will love all of them all. of them have such unique flavors and really embrace the feel of this fall season. We started with a Roasted Butternut Squash & Kale Salad. This is a very beautiful salad and has the added flavor a red quinoa. It was light and filling it pairs really nicely with a Kendall Jackson Chardonnay.
Expected corporate food, but pleasantly surprised. Sourdough round has a good tang and substance. Pizza sauce is very tasty. Almond croissant is flaky and the marzipan is flavorful. Wife loved her soup and salad and daughter enjoyed her Impossible burger.

Hit or miss these days. Good food for breakfast and lunch. Stick to the chowder and salads. Great loyalty / rewards program. Have had quality issues with order being correct. New sandwiches are dry, over priced, just blah.
****update ****3.20.2023. They got rid of the previous sandwiches and have this new Mediterranean Menu, which is awesome! The Gyro looks like the picture, was made with plenty of filling and absolutely delicious.
So good, but so much. Really need to get that family meal so worth it.
Great place to eat. The bread was amazing and all the items where above par. One thing to note is that chili isn't served and after 3:00 p.m.
The clam chowder in a bread bowl was excellent.
Decent sandwiches. Good soup. Great customer service. Nothing mind blowing that has me wanting to come back for more but I’m just picky like that.
I ordered clam chowder and chili in child size portions and both were very tasty! Love how they serve a sourdough fish bread (super cute) with these soups! I ordered as take out on cold rainy day!!!
I have been going to Boudin for quite a while now and I have been to the original location in Fisherman's Wharf many times. The food is always good and enjoyable. The manager at this location is Thomas and if you are there when he is in, he is more than happy to share the history of the company with you which is quite fascinating.
Today his staff outdid themselves. They were so attentive and taking care of whatever we needed.
The baguette burger is one of my favorites and it did not disappoint. I must say the one they prepared was the best they could have ever done. The flavor was incredible and the meat was so juicy. Thank you so much. I also tried the clam chowder today and it was so full of clams and the flavor was perfect, not overly creamy or salty.
This was my best experience out of many wonderful experiences here. Thanks again!

Great location with good, helpful staff. Have been here twice for lunch and it was great both times. The soup in bread bowl is a favourite, as I'm mad for their tangy sourdough. I've also enjoyed taking a loaf or two home with me (the raisin bread is also great). This time I had the tuna fish sandwich and enjoyed it, but the bread bowl still wins, in my books!

It was a delight to find a Boudin in Huntington. But why not?
Place was clean and spacious with plenty of social distracting inside and out.
We of course ate outside since the weather was cool and breezy.
Staff was pleasant but nothing to brag about.
Our food on the other hand was great!
Verdict: IT’S BOUDIN, you should eat here!
