We were actually going to Thai Pepper and saw this place. It looked so cozy, and just had to try it out. Our waiter gave us recommendations and we were glad we took it! Everything was delicious. Loved the ambiance, and the service was super friendly.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mazara Trattoria Italian restaurant and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality. The family-owned and operated business truly made me feel special and valued as a customer.
The food was simply outstanding. Each dish was made with the freshest ingredients and crafted with care. The pasta dishes were cooked to perfection and the pizza was absolutely delicious. The carpaccio was tender and flavorful, while the meat offerings were cooked to perfection. The desserts were the perfect ending to a wonderful meal and the wine selection was superb.
What I appreciated most about Mazara Trattoria was the attention to detail and the genuine concern for their customers' satisfaction. The family took the time to speak with each table and ensure that everyone was happy with their meal. It was evident that they truly care about their customers and want them to have an enjoyable dining experience.
Overall, if you're looking for authentic Italian cuisine with exceptional service and a warm, family-friendly atmosphere, I highly recommend Mazara Trattoria Italian restaurant. You won't be disappointed!
Best Italian restaurant in OC!
What a wonderful experience we had last night at Mazara Trattoria!
Laura, the owner, has done a fabulous job, not only with the ambiance of the restaurant, the way she remembers her guests and personally visits each table but the food is simply the best in OC. Truly the classic Italian style. We had the special of the day, Short rib pasta with homemade pappardelle pasta which was perfect. Very large portion. The minestrone soup was also top notch. Wine was great and at a reasonable price.
It was a special night out for us. Treat yourself sometime to this fabulous restaurant!

We found this restaurant “accidentally” a few years ago and go back regularly.
As others have said - best Italian in Orange County! Owners welcome you and stop by each table - feels like we are visiting friends. Try to make reservations - it can get busy but they will do whatever they can to accommodate!
First time coming to this Italian restaurant and it was a very very good choice! :-)
We are staying at a nearby hotel and I googled Italian restaurants around the area and read the reviews and look at the menu and decided to come here to carbo-load for a race we are running tomorrow on Sunday 6 February. Well the choice was well-founded! the place is outstanding and we knew it was when we walked in and it was full! The food we had was awesomely prepared and the service was outstanding! The management took an interest and came to check to see how things were going and that is a really good thing! We highly recommend this place and we will be back again!

The food is spectacular. My wife and I split the Rustica pizza and the Pasta Alla Paesana. The tomatoes and olives tasted so fresh; the crust was cooked perfectly. Easily one of the best pizzas I've ever had. The Paesana dish with meatballs was delicious, perfect amount of garlic. The bread and the house made spreads were both amazing. Laura provided great customer service and was very helpful. You can tell she takes pride in her establishment and is passionate about the menu. Can't wait to go back and try more dishes!!!
This place is the best Italian food In all of Orange County :) this is authentic Italian food 😋 👌 you will walk out of here so happy and full. And the staff is so kind.

We were looking to eat some delicious Italian food. We came in close to closing unintentionally and we’re still greeted with such a welcoming hospitality. The atmosphere is very lively, the restaurant was small but held enough character and good vibes for it to be enjoyable. And the food…. Omg the food. Did I mention we came in late? 10/10 rating regardless! We’ve never had such lovely service and great food. No complaints here ! I ordered the fettuccini ai funghi, and added shrimp. Wonderful dish! Can confidently say this is the best fettuccini I’ve ever had.
Lovely small place! Very pleasant service, the food is amazing! They bring some bread and tomato spread while waiting. Great for a date or a cozy evening. Highly recommend!
