EXCELLENT service, made the food even better. We had reservations for a party of 10 for 530pm on a Friday. Out table was completely ready for us by the time we got there. Our waiter was great. He provided menu suggestions and was very patient. Out water\drinks were topped off regularly without us having to ask.
As for the food, the portions are not huge family style like Buca Di peppo, which matches the fair prices. We still ordered a bunch of different entrees and shared anyway, just more fun that way. All of our pasta entrees (spaghetti, lasagna, fettuccini, ciopino) were quickly devoured. Pizza was good, but wouldn't be why I would go back. I really liked the pastrami panini. We actually ended up getting comped an extra pizza because they initially gave us a medium when we ordered a large. We would have never known until the waiter told us. Big kudos to him and the restaurant for their honesty. No comment on dessert because we were too full from all the fabulous food.
By 6pm the crowd was really starting to grow. I highly suggest reservations if you can.
Great for the neighborhood. Here is a classic neighborhood Italian joint. The food is great and the prices are low. Service is quick. They can handle large parties well. It is often busy and it is well lit so it's not going to be that little romantic hideaway. But if you want solid Italian food for reasonable prices then come here. If there were more places like this Olive Garden wouldn't exist.
My husband and I found this spot on Urbanspoon under hidden gems and that's exactly what it was!! We had the grilled artichoke and calamari for appetizers both were delicious. My husband had the baked lasagna and I had the Osso Bocco most delicious. The portion were huge and the prices unbelievably cheap. Food was high quality and our waiter was awesome.
Food, service and atmosphere were all great. Reasonable cost at about $15 per person with beverage, tax and tip. Will be back here soon.

Buom Gusto is the best italian food in orange county. You have to get there early it gets packed. Its well worth the wait if you get there after 6:30

So delicious!!! We went on a Saturday night. It was packed & loud, but wine was only $5 a glass, nice casual environment, and the pink sauce is to die for! You can pick the type of pasta you want with a long list of sauce choices. I went with bow-tie pasta, chicken, asparagus, sun-dried tomatoes, wild mushrooms, & artichoke hearts in the pink sauce. Best meal I've had in a long time. Rich, hearty, & worth the indulgence.
THE BEST !. I'd heard about your restaurant for some time from a very dear friend. I dined there yesterday, and ordered the fantastic Lasagna I'd heard about. The Lasagna was beyond my expectations. It was superb! As was the Caesar Salad. The service by the wait staff was superb, polite and attentive. I highly recommend this fine restaurant to everyone!
Here is a hidden gem of a place! The interior is very nice and cozy. I sat at the bar and I loved the scenery. I had a side Caesar salad which was super delicious!!
The service is amazing, they are all friendly and very quick and look like they enjoy working here. The complimentary bread was warm d with the butter, beautiful harmony between texture and flavor!
Main course was the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken which is my go to for comfort food. It was so necessary and delicious, I can’t say it enough. Remember this is a very traditional family restaurant so be sure to pace yourself and remember to take your time. These folks prepare your food with care and you won’t regret waiting as it will be well worth every bite.
There so many options here I will be returning easily!

This is some of the best Italian food ever! I always get food from here so good, nice small business, and it is just so amazing! If you ever eat out in Huntington Beach you have to eat out here best food ever! Please please please go to Buon Gusto's and bless your taste buds with soul food.

They are beer and wine only, and are generous with the portion of wine served.
Many televisions with sporting events, plus a nice bar to belly up to.

Super good food! Great service. Good beer,wine. Best thing not at all expensive. Our two entrees plus two to go $62.00. Great menu. Way too hard to choose. Authentic Italian with nothing but fresh ingredients. A must to return!
We found this restaurant on Google reviews because my family and I were craving an Italian restaurant. It was delicious!!! 😋 Cleo our server was the absolute sweetest. She gave us the history of the restaurant which has been in existence for 40 years! I ordered the seafood one, my husband ordered the tortellini, and my mom got the BEST LASAGNA I HAVE EVER HAD! ❤️
We ordered seafood Alfredo pasta with mushrooms and we shared it. Incredible!
Also ordered small side salad. It had assorted veggies and choice of two dressings. We had Italian and ranch dressing.
Our server was Mattie who was attentive and great.
I had dinner with my MIL here and I will definitely be coming back. The service was great, the food was excellent, and the prices are very reasonable. I had the chicken in a green pesto sauce with fettuccine. They serve very large portions so bring a big appetite. There's plenty of parking in the back.
A local restaurant with excellent Italian food. Will host large as well as small parties. Just arrive early so you won't have to wait too long.
