Great place with great view. Love the tiki atmosphere upstairs. Milkshake is great as always. Burger is also good. Not too greasy, but nothing “WOW” me. Cause it’s the Ruby’s I’m expecting. Spent the day with my hubby. It’s great to enjoy such a view at a not to expensive seafood restaurant. I’m happy. I love their garlic fries though. Which we can have free refill :) will be coming back!

A co-worker recommend me to this place, while I was on business near the area. First thoughts, I really liked the view from the second floor tiki lounge. I thought they had a bar, but was informed it wouldn't be till sometime in May of this year. I ordered fish and chips which were great! Just enough batter and the Hawaiian Punch cocktail made it taste better. Overall, I'd come back if I fly down here again. I'd give it a 5 star, but I was looking forward to a tiki bar scene on the pier. Hope to be there for another review. Service was on point and very prompt.

Fantastic views, great service, good food and drinks. Definitely hit all of my marks! I nearly ordered fish, before I saw it's Atlantic cod... You're quite literally ON the Pacific ocean, why not serve fresh local fish? Maybe I'm spoiled coming from the NW where I'm used to fresh local & wild-caught fish, but it definitely seems more sustainable and higher quality than coming from across the entire country. *Since there are plenty of other menu options and the fish source just wasn't "for me", I'm not docking any review stars.

I love this place specially at weekend mornings while there is a clear weather . I usually try to seat at second floor . From second floor you have the ocean and beach view and at the clear days also you can see the catalina island and even the long beach and rancho palos verdes hill while you enjoy your meal . I really love it . The deign and service is just perfect .also the sound of jazz music make you more comfortable . In my opinion from all menu the best one would be the clam chowder soup . The taste is just unbelievable . They use their own special recipe . The second one is chocolate shake .

Ruby's Diner is located at the end of the pier at Huntington Beach. The view from inside the diner is good, and the food is always excellent. While the lower dining area is nostaglic diner, the upstairs is a relaxing tiki setting. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

Staff are super friendly and very charming. I love that the diner is at the end of the pier, its kind of like, "light at the end of the tunnel". You can't beat the unlimited fries, great for fries lovers as myself. Definitely coming back.

Great burgers and fries! They offer something for everyone and it's hard not to get tempted by all the great Juicy Burgers on the menu to even bother trying anything else. Shakes are to die for and huge to share with more then one. I love the view during the day to see the beautiful ocean. Great kiddie options to eat

I really enjoyed this location! It's right on the boardwalk in Huntington Beach. It's at the very end though and it's a little further than what it appears from down below. Prices are extremely reasonable and not jacked up, which is nice when you're tempted to buy so much at the beach. Next time, I'll definitely request the upstairs seating--the ocean view looks like you're eating in a restaurant in a cruise ship, plus the restrooms are upstairs. The burgers were awesome my brother enjoyed his shrimp. I also appreciated the many refills we received even though we only drank water. I'll definitely be back someday.

This place had some good food. We showed up by chance on the restaurant's Birthday and the burgers were discounted to $2.99 from $9.99. They were good and I would have paid the full price.

Service was terrible. We had empty plates on the table for 20 minuets. The waitress and staff were very distant not even a refill until had to ask. Waited 15 minuets for banana split, and a brownie sundae. It was weak sauce. Pretty disappointed in overall. The girl that made my son the balloon � was probably the only one point. Terrible just straight irritating. This was 7-15-18. Worst service day ever. Been going here for years. Next time we’re going somewhere else definitely.

AC was broken. Manager acted like a fool when we decided to leave because it was so hot on the second floor. Not sure why they chose to keep that portion open during the heatwave we are in. Anyways service was terrible and we had a server who was in training bring us a few waters. But my wife and I decided it was better to just walk then deal with the heat. So we left luckily we didn’t order anything so it made it easier to walk

Went in at 7 when it opened took the waited 20 mins to come over to ask if we wanted a drink I said a coffee and mentioned we were ready to order he replied I have to take care of the other tables first which were two other tables after getting the breakfast which we were in the 40th minute it wasn’t the cooked well the bacon looked raw and the potatoes hard. The manager came over asking all of everythibg is ok I said no actually my breakfast isn’t all the way cooked he took it away to the two cooks I saw they were complaining saying nothing wrong with it so I figured I’ll just stick to the toast I still have on the table and not mess with them spitting in my food 1 hour 10 mins later with still only four tables full we left . Yuck will never go back

Waited more than an hour food was not fresh, fries were old cold and lymph, burger was mediocre at best. I was very disappointed. Eaten at several other Ruby’s all great . Not this one not on Saturday. The coke at the walk up was great. Won’t be back�
