I wanted to try this Cookout location since we always went to the one near Concord Mills and I think this is the best Cookout I've ever been to and we've tried several! I've stopped by during rush hour lately and the drive-thru line was very short and the employee name Maxwell was very nice while he was talking my order. He did not rush me trying to order and at the other locations it seems like they always want to rush and seem annoyed. When I got to the window to pay and get my food, Maxwell was very polite and helpful with getting everything I needed. The food was correct as well which every time we go to another Cookout there seems to be something wrong with our order. Total time to order, pay and get food was a little over 5 minutes, I was very impressed. Will definitely go back and I appreciate Maxwell for being an awesome worker especially during these times!
This is the only reliable fast food option on exit 23 anymore. They are actually open late, don’t give attitude when they take your order, they actually ask if you want sauce, they actually give napkins(idk why this doesn’t seem to be the standard for fast food places anymore. You eat the food with your hands, you need napkins), the food is always hot, and honestly the food quality has been improving over my last few visits.
The literal only thing I’d say as constructive criticism is that sometimes they should wipe the milkshakes off before handing them to you. It’s usually always a mess. But this is easily something I can fix and I’m not taking a star off for that.
The wait was long but they actually got our order correct which is more than I can say about the Sunset location. My husband and I think that that location must have a sick game they play to mess up every order. Anyways, we didn’t have that issue at this location and it is appreciated!
Love the staff Herr. Love the fast service and food! PERIOD!
My sister visited from Philly and wanted a different flavor milkshake, and my husband too, they loved it.
