Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen

I was impressed. I ordered the 8oz sirloin and fried shrimp, along with the Southern Greenbeans, and Broccoli Cheese Casserole. The green beans were the best green beans I have ever had. They had a slight sweetness to them that I haven’t experienced before. The casserole was super delicious and was perfectly balanced. The fried shrimp were plain fried shrimp — nothing to get excited about. The sirloin was well-seasoned. I ordered extra garlic butter with mine. It wasn’t really tender but the taste was bountiful — somewhat chewy. Now, being that the meal was 18.99, it is nothing to gripe about. You get what you pay for. The meal, overall, was excellent, and I will visit Cheddars more often because of it.

We visited the Humble location just for a quick bite to eat and it was exceptionally good. My husband and I had the Spinach dip, chicken tenders, buttered rice, broccoli and cheese, green beans and it was all very tasty. As for the customer service our waiter Jonathan was amazing. He was knowledgeable about the menu, very professional, attentive and welcoming. We will definitely be visiting again.

I recently came back from Utah and I wanted to revisit Cheddar's where months ago I have had a good food experience. I didn't want to wait much and I decided to sit at the bar given that it was just me who wanted to have a lunch. I was happily surprised by the great service I was provided by the person assigned to that area of the restaurant, she was friendly and very professional making sure I was enjoying my time and meal. Everything I requested weather it was limes, water, napkins, etc. was granted to me with the best attitude you could see. I repeated the same experience sitting at the same spot recently and I left the place feeling happy again as the first time. I enjoyed watching the fish from the aquarium and the small conversation I had with the bar server and another waitress. Thank you Cheddar's for the wonderful meals, friendly environment and nice people that take our orders with a kind attitude!!

Stopped in for a later dinner as we were busy most of that day. Quickly got a seat which was great and had our orders in straight away. Just had the crispy chicken tender salad and the chips and dip. Very tasty. I don't normally eat the curb chips but was happy to cheat a little as they were very good and really liked the spinach and cheese dip.

You don't have to be a vegan to get a vegetable plate at Cheddars. Their side dishes are that good. I love the broccoli casserole. This location is very close to the airport. The atmosphere is ideal for business social or pleasure. Their alcoholic beverages menu is one of a few from a chain restaurant that tops my list. I like the tropical, colorful drinks topped with garnish. Shyre was very pleasant and friendly. The service was excellent.
