Amazing food and service. Stopped by Hudson for a pit stop and a local told me to come here. I wanted to try everything on the menu, it looked great. Me and the person dining with me were happy and both entrees (and appetizer) tasted amazing. The brussel sprouts I had with the pork special were seriously the best I've ever had. Please keep those. Our server Brooklyn was great as well. Places like this make me want to leave the city more often for amazing places like this to eat at. A+ guys.
Myself and a coworker stopped for lunch at his recommendation. I had the Mexican Poor Boy pulled pork and it was great. I enjoyed the hand cut fries as well. The staff was very friendly and the place was very clean. I liked the open grill concept. Our server was Lindsey who was fantastic, cheerful, and an amazing smile. Overall great experience. I will definitely go there again. Good work.
We love going out. Last night we came to this magnificent place which friends recommended to us. We passed a delightful experience there with superb cooking and a nice team and a distinguished chief cook. We added this restaurant in our phone list and we shall surely visit again soon. We highly recommend.
Whenever I'm hungry for some awesome tasty food I head out to Barker's and Hudson Wisconsin. They really know what they're doing there. The flame-broiled burgers and chicken sandwiches are the best. The food presentation looks too good to eat and taste even better. I've been going there for years and always have a great experience. The wait staff is always friendly. I like how they give you fresh ketchup out of the refrigerator. You know the ketchup has not been sitting on the table for weeks. Barker's always has a great selection of tap beers. I always have to have a New Glarus beer while I'm in Wisconsin. I would recommend barkers to anyone who wants to have a fabulous time and delicious food. I can't wait to go back.
Friendly, casual and extremely comfortable atmosphere. Good food. Great wait staff. Highly recommended for drop ins. Classic mid western bar & grille.
Barker's is the place to go whether it's for a birthday dinner with the family, a date night, or just because you want to enjoy their amazing, positive service, food (especially wings) and drinks. I've went to Barker's multiple times for all three of the above reasons and have left with nothing but a smile and very satisfied belly! Most importantly I think this place has such a good atmosphere because of the owner, Pete. He is a genuine, understanding person and I have to believe this is why all his businesses have the same enjoyable experiences while visiting.
I've been coming here for roughly 10 years. Best fresh cut fries I have ever had in my life, and I'm old. Yellow fin Tuna melt is Amazing!
Another crazy busy Saturday night with the bars and streets overflowing with the extra people streaming in from across the bridge. We tried Barkers for the first time. The ladies at the front were doing an excellent job at trying to navigate the never-ending stream of people entering the restaurant for dine in and take out service. They were clearly working to the limits of their kitchen with a full house and take out orders. The extra effort it takes to sanitize and maintain social distancing and other safety measures does not go unnoticed (even though many people entering may not be as careful as they could be). For someone who is not really a wing fan, these were by far the best wings I have ever had! All of our food was good and we will definitely be back.
Love, love, love Barker’s! I moved away from Hudson several years ago, but have to go back periodically because, while everything I’ve tried on the menu over the years has been delicious, I CRAVE the tuna melt and Barkers fries. Rare- and a side of ranch for the fries. 😋
Definitely family friendly. Showed up at opening and enjoyed a nice Bloody Mary, mimosa and plenty of food. Had our 2yo with us. Very busy wknd in Hudson because MN was on lockdown. Ended up shopping around and going to other places that got crazy busy throughout the day. Ended our late afternoon at Barkers that thankfully had one spot open for us and we enjoyed the rest of our evening. Best spot from all our stops in Hudson. Great wings! Best service we had throughout the day too. No other places managed the rush as well as Barkers.
