Log Cabin Restaurant

We were hungry driving by so we stopped in to check it out. Didn't actually see the menu but the barmaid/waitress told us the few items available... We almost left but decided to try a couple of the porterhouse steaks. These were too thin to do this cut right (under 3/4 inch) and there was zero seasoning. The staff is very friendly and I'm sure if someone wants to do pub and grub they would be very satisfied. But our meals were $30 each and just not worth the value. Will we come back? After the bland $60+ meal, no. For that price, go to the Brighton Grill.

If you like the sample lady at Gordon Food Service you'll get off cheaper by going to Gordon Food Service. did I mention that the food tastes like it's been heated up from Gordon Food Service. The place was empty except for 5 drunks getting loud at the bar, one of which was playing a rousing game of 'guess my brothers name'. with this kind of intellectual clientele as well as the overpriced frozen food fare this place won't stay in business long. The waitress was pretty good, I bet she can get another job easily when this dump closes.

Love Nick and Harry. Both brothers are in their 90's and Harry loves to do most of the cooking. They are two friendly and interesting guys. Love to sit with them while we eat and hear the decades-worth of stories they live to tell - especially Harry. Our house burned down and we were hospitalized til this weekend and drive by but it was closed. Hope they are ok! Best pizzas and fries and calves liver and steak and fish.

I wish I could give this place no stars. Worst place I have ever eaten. There are already minimal food choices so when we went to order we were told oh we don't have that or this ...... so what do you have? then they push the pizza on you. You get cheese and every topping is 1.25 extra. ok then were ordered an appetizer ( fries ) soft and soggy cut up potatoes, which came when our pizza came and got charged 2.25 For ranch to dip them in. Ranch that by the way was so sour we couldn't eat it. It's dirty not an environment you want to sit down and have a meal.

You NEED to do a TOTAL MAKEOVER. Get Rid of the banquet tables. New clean carpet or other flooring would help. In your picture everyone sees banquet tables & chairs. Looks like a self serve coffee station, and the vacuum. *REALLY* UPDATE Interior, redo menu and come up with some House Specialties, and Serve Fresh Food. Your place should be packed every day. When you have more than 4 cars in the parking lot people might come.

You have to be a long time local to appreciate the Log Cabin. Yes it’s true it’s not a glammed up sports bar or a trendy Irish pub and it doesn’t house 1000 different beers for millennials to feel special about their beer of choice. If looking for just a cold beer, a bar burger or pizza, this is your place.

No cars ever in the parking lot already says a lot about the place, the inside needs remodeling badly. Parking lot can use a update, the business sign while it might be nostalgic to the owners is outdated and looks like something from the eastside of Detroit. Either redo your whole business or just give it up. It’s more of a eye sore than anything.
