Chinese Delight

I ordered the Mongolian beef and my boyfriend ordered some kind of deluxe lo mien. The meat is just gross idk if it’s even meat at this point my beef and his chicken tasted the same (consistency/texture of eating jello) whatever they use to coat the meat is super gross. They didn’t ask if I wanted white or fried rice. They gave me brown rice which I was just going to eat because I couldn’t eat the meal and it was dried out and yucky to. I got the wonton soup which was okay (never seen so many veggies in wonton soup, wasn’t really a good thing but manageable to consume) he got the hot and sour and was okay with that until he found some long stringy things we were unable to identify. The egg rolls were good but they should think about the sauce cup vs they egg roll oval they serve so it fits to dip. This is my 2nd time trying this place in 3 years and I will never go back. They should order from other Chinese places to get ideas to improve (not in the Howell areas because they are all pretty bad). The only place I seem to like out this way is Hontos and they were closed due to the weather. So thanks for being open yesterday but I should of just made a pb and j sandwich.

I ordered chicken fried rice and it was basically inedible. I ordered this because I figured it was a safe bet when trying a new restaurant. Nope, it was flavorless and the chicken was like the texture of silly putty. We also got the sweet and sour chicken. The chicken pieces were over-cooked and extremely dry. The sweet and sour sauce was really good though. I was gingery and delicious. I'm hoping I hit them on a bad night and they're usually better, but the food was so bad I don't think I'll ever go back to find out.
