One visit to this store led me to buy a turntable. Had such a flood of memories looking thru their boxes and boxes and boxes of vinyl. Went back and bought 12 albums. It is my new favorite hobby.

Amazing, friendly, hometown cafe/shop- Ken & Dan make you feel welcome. Coffee was great, always adding new flavors. Vinyl selection is well organized and in great condition. Stop in and check it out...

I could spend days here searching through the records in the back. I've a lot of amazing gems here and I'm always excited to visit and search through the back room and get a specialty coffee and chat with one of the owners for a moment. My husband and I plan on going in next time to eat because they have a menu that looks awesome. My only issue is the hours they are open. Selfishly, I wish they were open later, but that is the only "issue" if that's even what you want to call it.

If you’re wondering about this place, don’t hesitate! We stopped-by on a Saturday morning, and were surprised to find it quite busy. Coffee was good, sandwiches looked good too. Most tables were filled, and folks looked happy! Check-out the store in back - they sell nostalgic memorabilia (50’s & 60’s), and have TONS of LPs &45s for sale!

Enjoyed my cup o jo and bagel sandwich, nice and warm on a cold day! Great ambiance in the shop, spend a few minutes browsing the records while your order is being prepared. Lots of seating options from tables to lounge chairs, next time bring my laptop and getting some work done for sure.

This place is an absolute treasure. My fiance is originally from NW Michigan and we had to meet at a coffee shop with a vendor somewhat close to civilization, so when I saw a record store I pounced on it. The guys that run the place are super friendly and accommodating and the selection is fantastic. They keep the good stuff up front, terrific vintage presses and limited release, but don't be discouraged by the prices because the deals in the back (sub-$10 records I believe) are fantastic. They even have a bin of records that are a little crackly for $3 (I scored Bowie, Beatles, Costello, Prine and Lou Reed albums out of this bin) and they're all still super decent quality. If you find yourself near Howard City, it's absolutely worth stopping in.
