The salt and pepper shrimp with the fried rice is incredibly seasoned with the right amount of spice. We also ordered orange chicken, jalapeño shrimp and shrimp fried rice. They are the real deal and food tastes authentic to their culture if you’re in the area please check them out. They didn’t disappoint at all.
We got our food here today. It was one of the best food I've had in a while. Thanks a lot!
Food is always good, but they're now putting red pepper in most all dishes, even the green beans. I have health issues and cannot eat spicy food. Hoping they will go back to less red pepper, especially in green beans and pepper steak, two of my favorites.
The general Tso’s chicken was tender and flavorful! And the servings are plenty.
I've seen reviews before where they talk about food being bland and I tended to disagree but Today 1/3/2022 was the day..it was ALL bland!!
(And no I dont have Covid!...lol! I just had some tacos for dinner and they were very tasty!!)
The thing is.. not only was the food bland but everything was very LUKE WARM temperature-wise!
I think that's what made it worse! I mean if your Kung Pao is boring then "we have a problem", because minimum it should be spicy and for sure it should be HOT from "The Wok"!
The one other thing that I had already noticed in previous visits in need of desperate help are the Egg Rolls!!! Those HAVE TO BE CRUNCHY NOT SOGGY! (And definitely NOT Cold!) And please add a little flavor to them! Dont know if you purchase them pre-made, but when you heat them up, please sprinkle some salt or something on them for some flavor!
I'll take some MSG!.(just kidding...lol!)
And speaking of heating up...please do try to keep that food NICE N HOT!..I know the tunnel is a little cold these days, but whatever is under your food to keep things hot, it needs to work better!
I still gave it 4 stars though because Ladies behind counter are real nice! Thank you for reading!
Love this place. I wish there was one by my house. I would recommend getting the general chicken and fried fish with green beans. Always hits the spot. Also the service is quick and friendly and it's priced just right.
Chinese food and the feeling at this location is excellent. Entered near ten, it was not crowded. I had a cousin come into town and asked me to take him back here. The prices are fair for the quality of food.
Been going here on and off for several years now. A bit pricey, but generally fresh food that meets my expectations. Their fried rice is a little too greasy and salty for me.
chinese food here - yummy. staff is always timely even when they have a full house. service treated us so kindly. it has a great atmosphere.
This is my go to spot when I'm craving some good Chinese food within walking distance in downtown Houston. The place is located inside is of the park shops. There is a long line during lunch on weekdays, but it goes rather quick. The food is always fresh. I always get the kung pao chicken, lo mein, greens beens, and steamed rice.
