Being in Sunnyside for past 12,13 yrs & last week my first time ever going I can honestly say they can get my $ for that same taste YES IM ALL IN DEFINITELY GOING BACK
I stopped one day leaving work. I order the chicken sandwich. It's so good. I took my co worker. She fell in love with it. Pretty much we eating there every time we get a chance. Great home made burgers. Great prices. Been coming here for the past 5 years..
The Hot Stop is a hidden neighborhood jewel. We lucked upon while leaving Doris Soul Kitchen. We tried cheeseburgers and a pork chop sandwich at The Hot Stop. Both items were prepared to order, thus, a slight wait time for meals. Food was seasoned just right, not salty, nor greasy.
It's to go only, walk up to place order at window and wait on patio or in your vehicle. Staff wore mask and patrons as well maintained distance. GREAT FOOD, GREAT PRICES, & GREAT HOURS.

THESE FRIES ARE SO DOGGONE GOOD, and I am not a French fry fan. And this bacon cheeseburger is on point. Next stop - Peach Cobbler...
UPDATE: THIS is what Peach Cobbler is supposed to taste like - flavors are balanced, not too sweet and A LOT OF REAL CRUST!!!

Comfort food that is made to order and good. Depending on the time there may a be wait but once you get it, your are good.
Paid 10.05 for the 3 peice french toast with 3 Pam sausage and 3 bacon. The one plate fed me and my boyfriend and we could barely finish it plus the presentation was just as good as the taste. Even came with a free 20 bottle of big red rather than a fountain drink which I liked. Will definitely be eating here again ❤️
