Great food at a reasonable price gotta love that seasoning tho ain't nothing like Louisiana chicken, catfish and fried shrimps
Reminds Me Of Home! New Orleans Style, You know I love it!
Ordered from here one night while I was staying in a nearby hotel. So I ordered the food thru grub hub. The food came quickly and was hot. The portions were large and filling. I enjoyed the gumbo a lot. The jambalaya definitely was not my favorite jambalaya. The meat in the jambalaya tasted good but the rice was bland, definitely needed some heat. The fried chicken was good as well as the catfish. Overall I would order again.
I go here every time I'm in the area. The only Louisiana Fried I will eat at. The restaurant is absolutely clean at every visit. The manager and staff are very professional. The wait is never long and most of all the flavor and freshness is always on point. Going there today, as a matter of fact.
Clean location with friendly folks behind the counter. Great for super casual dining or take-out. Love their fried shrimp and wings are pretty good too...sadly not as excited about the fries or crab balls though, guess I’ll have to try the coleslaw or some other side next time.
Absolutely amazing food. The chicken and fries were nicely seasoned and they still had a nice crunch to it even after an hour. Ordered for 130 people and our school did not have a single complaint concerning the chicken. 10/10!!
Order blackened catfish at like 10 at night and was absolutely shocked at the quality. It was delicious! Mixed vegetables and fried okra was excellent as well. They even make pretty good slushies. Highly recommend this place.
Best home cooked "fast food" the catfish is 1 of my favs along with the fried shrimp. But don't be fooled the chicken is really good also. They also have a ton of specialty items including grilled options and tons of vegetarian options(mostly sides and veggies)
I come here almost every Tuesday to get the Tuesday special. It's two pieces of chicken for $1.50. with just a couple of those orders you can feed a whole family for not very much money. They also sell fish and pretty good sides. The cajun fries are pretty good. it may not look like it, but they do have a drive-thru, you just have to go around the back of the plaza. The drive-thru is pretty fast. Their chicken is very well spiced and flavored, but the fish isn't anything special. The tartar sauce for the fish is kind of bland as well. If you order from here definitely stick to the chicken because it is amazing.
I cant stay away from here. The food is so addicting and good it's really kinda sucks because I feel trapped like I have to go here for the delicious fried chicken. I think they spike it with some addictive substance that makes me crave it fortnightly. Damn you Louisiana famous fine foods! I'm going broke!
Fantastic food! Featuring authentic southern Louisiana menus and "homemades" delicious enough to soothe the soul of the homesick, seldom found in fast restaurants, such as Creole pasta and Cajun catfish smothered in a seafood sauce that is a scoop of gumbo, itself, fresh-cooked while you wait. Great-tasting complimentary sides are served with main dishes by a courteous, concerned local community staff, making this place an authentic Southern immersion experience. My only quibble would be that, while there is good blues playing if you go inside, it's obvious that the decor and seating are more suited to waiting for pickup than staying to eat. I'd ideally like to see the place get some atmospheric photos on the walls or other decor that might be more welcoming to an eat-in crowd.
The food here is very good. The number 16 you get two piece dark, two fried catfish, one side and a drink. You can sub the drink for a second side if you choose, all for under ten dollars. Pretty good deal.
