Absolutely love the fried shrimp. Not crazy about fried catfish, meat was not tender nor flanky. The combination mix, 2 fish and 6 shrimp was more than enough. Fried rice that came with it was amazing!
Whenever i’m on the north side Kim’s is a must. I always get a 3pc catfish with 6 shrimp, fries and a salad for $10 you can’t beat that. The food is always fresh and made to order and the consistency is always the same.
OMG!!! Kim's is 🔥🔥 the best fried fish I done had since I been in Houston! Really everything I had was good. The shrimp and shrimp fried rice! All of it wasn't my food, I was with my best friend so I had to sample his food too lol but seriously the wait is worth it because they cook to order. So have a seat a wait that little 10-15 minutes because for my 1st time eating there it was so worth the wait!
In and out in 10 mins, it wasn't busy at all, food tasted great. Hot and fresh, I'm a pleased customer

Whenever I'm in town, I don't leave out before I stop for my fresh southern fried "real" catfish!! This is my favorite place to get it the way I love it!! They R always on point!!

First time here, drove past it but turned around and wanted to give it a try. So I did, ordered the fish with 6 shrimps, came with a slice of bread and a side salad. The older employee at the register was very polite, as he handed me condiments I asked for some hot sauce and he handed me a brand new bottle to take home, I was surprised and laughed and I tried to give it back and he insisted for me to take the bottle lol. Try it out!
