This place continues to hold a special place in my heart. So much so that I had to give an update.
Yall, this is one of the best places to come and chill with your dog. They are close to the Millie Bush dog park, that many times when Tesla is done at the park, we meet pur friends there. The atmosphere is calm and restful. The staff are always friendly and cheerful.
Their coffee continues to be my favorite of all the nearby places that offers it. A traditional Maron coffee goes excellent with any of their empanadas. And if you want something extra sweet, the cappuccino is splendid.
The empanadas choices are vast and delicious. And if you have your dog with you, you can even treat them to a small order of Perronadas! Tesla loves them, especially with a bit of their cilantro sauce! (Just an occasional way to spoil him.) They are bland so they don't upset his, or Lucy's, stomach at all. Every time we go, the two of them want a bite, they love it so much.

Not sure what was the better the food or the service! As soon as we walked in we felt welcomed. This was are first time visiting and they were so patient and helpful with deciding what to order. Will definitely be returning 🙂

A tiny quiet café tucked in a corner off of Westheimer, what can I say about it other than a place to chill and enjoy one of the best coffees! I come for the coffee but never miss an opportunity to enjoy the food!! Service is great and welcoming with lots of smiles!!! Price is very reasonable!!!🥰

I recently had the pleasure of having Cafe +58 cater backstage to one of my concerts, and I was so impressed by their presentation, their attention to detail, the freshness of their food and and the delicious flavors. They specialize in Venezuelan food, bringing the authentic flavors from my homeland. I particularly loved their black beans and their Pan de Jamón. Everyone in my team was raving about the food. Cafe +58 has the best venezuelan empanadas of all Houston. Never disappoint. Today I took out 2 Shredded beef empanadas and an order of "Pan Canilla". Joel and his team made you feel at home and make sure everyone is absolutely happy with everything. Also, if you are Venezuelan and feel homesick, don't forget to get a coffee (It is just like drink a coffee in you favorite Venezuelan's Panaderia)

The place is always clean and organized, the staff is always welcoming and very friendly. The food is delicious. It's freshly made and you can taste it. Their coffee is pretty good and strong. They do have vegan options (not wit dairy replacements though). You can get a custom empanada with black beans and plantains, which is heaven!

Great cozy Venezuelan bakery.... clean, neat and warm place....great for a quick bite and coffee....Rebecca was amazing , very nice , friendly and welcoming lady.... I liked their food the arepa with cilantro sauce... a bit pricey....was a great experience and definitely will be going back again soon!!!!
