Some of the chicken was a little dry, but they gave me a huge portion size (I got 3 meats) for a good price of $11.90. Got the orange chicken, blackened chicken, and bourbon chicken. The bourbon chicken was especially good!
Burbon and spicy Cajun chicken was delicious.
The staff have a sense of urgency to help you right away. The quantity of food is great. The price is fair. I enjoyed my meal and will be a recurring customer.

I am from the New Orleans area and moved to the Houston area as a teen. My first time at the Willowbrook Mall, my mom and I decided to try Cajun N Grill, not because of the name, but the Bourbon Chicken samples were so good!
Instantly fell in love. Don't get the orange chicken or any of the others! Bourbon Chicken is where it's at.
But here's the thing... Cajun N Grill has a serious identity problem. By name, they are a Cajun restaurant. By food, they are Chinese or similar cuisine... They even serve fried rice and spring rolls. By those working there, I have always seen Hispanic people serving, which isn't a problem of course, but it does add to the silliness of the name.
Nothing about the place is Cajun.
It's excellent food, but it's very false advertising.
Yes it's Spicy. The Cajun chicken is very spicy and flavorful. Not quite the French recipe but awesome food nonetheless. $6.79 for a combo meal is great value too. Located in Mall food court.
I love the Spicy Cajun Chicken with noodles! It is my favorite. The staff are always friendly. I'm a loyal customer of many years and plan to be for many more.
Some of these comments are hard to believe. I was here recently 8/11/17 and back again today and ordered the same thing as before. Steamed rice..corn..bourbon chicken..spicy jalapeno chicken and broccoli..didnt see any roaches if anything I found it to be clean and staff was professional and let me try w.e I wanted before buying. Not to mention for the meal it was reasonable..

I adore this place! I couldn't care less if it's Asian or Cajun or whatever else because it's SO GOOD!!! Only place in the mall I've been eating at for some 20 years!! Get the bourbon chicken, fried rice and corn ❤️
I’ve never eaten here in my life but the guy who yells Bourbon Chicken across the Willowbrook Mall food court is an absolute legend!! I’m so glad he’s still there.
